This trapeze/swing bar is a part of our active play basement area for active boys. We have boys ranging in age from 2 to 12 and all can enjoy this one. It easily slides from taller to shorter. You can sit on top for a classic swing or you can hang and swing from below (on the black handles or the wood bar). My boys also use it as a ninja bar as they jump from monkey bars. The rope is high quality and we love the simple aesthetic of the wood and black. Make sure to buy installation hardware that can accommodate the weight requirement needed if mounting indoors from the ceiling. The swing itself is very sturdy even with my heaviest son.

Perfect exercise for young gymnastist

I love this item and we use it in the house. Only thing I am not fond of and I don't know how they could fix it, but the bar tightens down on the hand hold loops when swinging on the bar. We can push it back up just fine but you have to move it before using the hand holds. Overall this item is a favorite toy in our home. It looks great and can stand a lot of use from a family of 7. Kids love it and mom loves them having a place to let out energy.

For the life of me I can not get the rope to not twist in on itself. Seems to be a one off issue because no one else has mentioned. Besides that it’s a great product.

The trapeze swing bar is well made and the rope is sturdy. The wooden bar seems to be solid with no splinters. I feel like this will last for a long while. My wild, 3-year-old grandson flips on this like a monkey. I was hesitant about getting this since my grandbabies are 3 and 5 years old but now wish I had gotten it sooner. It fit perfectly on their swing set without any adjustments. Everything was included to hang it securely. I would recommend this wooden trapeze swing bar especially if you have a very active child in your home!!!

This excellent new trapeze swing replaced our previous "home-made" set up. It was simple and easy to install, using the metal carabiner suspension clips, plus each clasp had threaded safety collars to keep them secure. The ropes are good quality and per the printed instructions, the swing can support one person at a time, up to maximum load of 220 pounds. The two rope hand holds have comfortable rubber grips; however they do tend to "spin" even with a tight grip. The wood dowel is not painted or stained. This swing can be used indoors or outdoors, and always follow the safety guidelines listed in the instructions pamphlet provided.

I love this swing! I love that it's wooden instead of metal or plastic. It just looks nice. My kids love it. It's easy to lower for my kids to swing on and easy to higher for them to hang on. We got a tree strap kit and put it in a tree and it looks great too. I love looking out my window and seeing a pretty swing. It's wider than normal trapezes so even my teens can play on it, which I love. Outdoor play equipment is so good for kids to have. Whenever they fight or get upset one will go out and swing and feel much better. They've also learned to do different tricks. Highly recommend!

We installed indoors attached to monkey bars. The boys love it and use it daily.One of the black plastic handles did break very early on, but Amazon exchanged the product quickly and the replacement has had no issue.
