This costume set is definitely made for cosplay and not for real basketball or workout use, and it delivers exactly what a costume should. The material is polyester with that shiny, lightweight Halloween‑costume look and feel. It’s thin (but doesn’t look see-through), soft to the touch, and breathable, though I wouldn’t expect it to stay comfortable once you start sweating. There are no pockets for storing your wallet or ID or your phone. As a costume, though, it works but some pockets would be a nice addition. My kids immediately recognized it as an anime‑style uniform and were excited to try it on. The jersey and shorts look great, fit well, and the coloring is consistent with no fading or discoloration. The stitching throughout the whole outfit is clean, with no loose threads, gaps, or mismatched seams. The undergarment is a full catsuit with a hidden zipper in the back and thumb holes at the wrists. The zipper opens and closes smoothly, and the catsuit is sewn well, but it’s not my favorite part of the outfit. I personally would have preferred a separate shirt and leggings for easier wear, especially for restroom breaks. The catsuit fits a bit smaller and closer to the body than the jersey and shorts, so if you plan to wear the undergarment/catsuit, I’d suggest ordering up a size or two. The entire costume is hand washable, and I’ve been able to hang it or lay it flat to dry without it losing its shape. This is a pull‑over and step‑in style costume that’s easy to get into, durable enough for parties or conventions, and true to the colors and style shown. For a well‑made cosplay outfit that looks the part, fits as expected, and is affordable, the value is right where I’d expect it to be.
