Solid.
I have a couple vesa laptop trays, and this one is just simply very solid. I also LOVE that the mounting holes are at the top and not in the middle, because it makes the whole mounting solution effectively “longer”, as the arm sits further back.

Quality seems nice, especially considering that it was the cheapest option. Works perfectly for holding my desk mount monitor arm.

I thought I was ordering a pole & laptop shelf. The way the ad was, seemed very misleading.

Missing parts
The stand itself is a good quality it seems. However I received it in a box with no mounting hardware. Also no way to contact the seller for support. Would not recommend.

It's a tray and only the tray (+ screws)
It's a simple tray, minimalistic, with a bent edge on bottom to hold in the laptop, nothing much more.I repeat, the description does clearly state: Package - 1 x pholiten laptop holder tray, 1 x mounting hardware kitNOT + mounting stand and armThe pictures depict the tray being used with multiple different arms and stands, to give additional proof that it's only the tray as the featured product. You ARE expected to have the arm/mount with the VESA mounting standard to have any use of this tray.That said, it's ... fine? maybe feels overpriced for the simplicity and lack of description anywhere though. Counter-sunk holes for the screws to imply which side is up, and the sole 'tab' of bent metal is the bottom. Thick enough metal to handle most modern laptops...if not, it probably wouldn't be just the tray that fails but the stand/arm that you attach it to.It being a simple tray uninhibited to the sides can be a good thing though, as you aren't restricted in WHAT you put on it. Music sheets, tablets, anything you dream of.

Functional as indented
No issues, thick enough sheet stock good for mounting other things aside from laptops, a lighter piece if test equipment for instance.

Not clear, do not look at the picture
Disappointed, this item is ONLY the tray, NO ARM, NO MOUNT, NO CLAMP. I looked at so many and this price seemed good so I ordered it. Then I got a metal tray that is made of heavy gage steel powder coated, but useless. The picture should be changed and the description clarified.
