I tried ALL the types of donners out there, The metal one, the half scoop plastic type and this is the ONLY one that works for me. The others stress the stocking's elastic to the point where I actually damaged a sock. YOU MUST get the pad to get the system to work correctly. Before getting this product I was unable to put compression socks on without spending 20-25 minutes to do so.

I am a lymphedema therapist with many patients with a mixture of donning issues: difficulty reaching feet for a prolonged period of time, weak grip/arm strength, very fragile skin. Not only is this system really easy to use, it does not require any excessive motion from the feet and does not have sharp/solid areas to create shearing friction (like the more plastic or wire based donners). It is easy to clean for anyone who has weeping issues. Plus, it is compact so it can travel with ease. While this will not work for all donning issues, it is definitely something to consider for easier donning/doffing in general and particularly for people with weaker hands, difficulty bending over to touch the feet for more than a few seconds and skin issues. This is a product I will often recommend in my clinic.

The person I got this for needs to wear compression socks every day. I got it with the first pair of compression socks for them, and they said it will help on high-pain days because it requires much less mobility and hand strength to use than just pulling the socks on. The online videos were converted from VHS, but they're still valid and informative. This works for someone with an XXL calf.

I could NOT get that damn compression stocking on at all before I bought this. Now... it takes like two minutes to put it on. And.... I don't pull any damn muscles bending over and fighting to get the sock smooth. I just smooth it before I pull the slippie out. I am getting another one for a friend who travels a lot. She had the slippie alone and said it was easier to just use the wire frame, but I have convinced her that the floor pad is the key to getting it to work easily... and unlike her frame, she can pack this for overseas travel!

I am a COTA and was looking for an adaptive device that would help my patients don their support stocking that had back precautions. This product is easy to use and allows the patient maintain all back precautions and be independent with donning their support stocking. I would recommend the Juzo and will continue to do so to my patients. Good product, it works.
