PROIRON Cast Iron Adjustable Dumbbell & Barbell Weight Set with Connector

30kg of good weights, and a good set of dumbells and a serviceable barbell all for £100 is a bargain, especially when good 10kg plates are costing around £50-70, this is a great place to grab some dumbells with some nice quality metal plates. The set obviously doesn't come with a massive amount of weight, but it's easy enough to supplement it by buying more plates as you need.

Lovely set of weights with nice option with bar extender. Was a little concerned as took longer to deliver than ‘next day’ but is 30kg so quite heavy. Better finish than York cast iron plates. You can buy more expensive sets but iron is very robust and if dropped doesn’t deform.

These are as advertised. I got the 30kg set. The bar weight is included in the overall weight. So the plates add up to 27kg. The plates are well manufactured. They are a bit smooth and slipp about easily. The other ones I already own are a matt finish that is not shiny or slippy. I find them better than these weights for that reason. The shape and size are different to the plates I already own which I did not expect. I thought all cast iron 1" plates Wouldham some kind of universal diameter and thickness. It seems not. These are larger in diameter and thinner. Obviously this changes nothing in terms of weight. I can still use the old weights and These new ones together, however I will probably match each dumbbell and each side of the dumbbell for symmetry and in case of weight distribution differences. The box came quite damaged and completely open on one end. No parts were missing though so I am still happy with purchase. I went on to find a 20kg set that was cheaper to the point that I coukd have bought 2 of thse sets to get 40kg with 4 bars for the same rice as I got this 30kg set that has only 2 bars and a mid joint I will probably never use. I didn't want the hassle of sending this set back when there is nothing wrong with it for the better price to weights ratio. I would recommend this set but would also recommend researching other sets and working out how to get the best quantity and quality for your bucks.

Excellent quality and good weight 30kg for a beginner or intermediate beware package is compact and heavy very satisfied and happy with the product

It's gym quality thick iron, so durability is definitive, because I can't see how they get damage without sledge hammering or dropping them on a floor harder than cast iron. Not cheap though

Easy to put together. No problems with them coming loose. Handles comfortable to hold. Perfect for use at home.

One of o-rings bigger than other 3 so cannot be secured to the dumbell so can only use 1 instead of 2. Poor.

Overall the items are good quality but one faulty bar means half of the product is useless. EDIT: Contacted by PROIRON customer support, I provided images of faulty product and they have offered to send me a new bar.

This is a great choice of weights for anyone looking to practice in there room I will say it does get a bit annoying always having to screw on weight but at least it’s secure and for the price it’s great quality.

The weights are very solid, which is great because our old weights were plastic rings filled with sand. This is much more compact, and changing the weights is very very easy. We haven't used the middle part yet with much weight on it, but it screws on very nicely. This is a very nice set.

Das PROIRON Hantelset ist zwar nicht das modernste, aber dafür extrem robust. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Sets, die man sich so anschaut, kann hier nichts auseinanderfliegen. Genau das war mir wichtig. Die Verarbeitung ist massiv und zuverlässig – ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Matériel de très bonne qualité, il y a les 2 joints toriques 1 du coté vis et l'autre coté barre pour le maintien des disques de manière à ce que les disques ne roule pas sur l'axe de la barre, et la tenue au niveau des mains est excellente.
