I’m still in shock at how much i love this book. I’m obsessed. The quality is absolutely amazing. Just….. get it. I have very minimal words because it’s just a wow to me. To be honest i bought this for aesthetic decor and didn’t even plan to open it, but i did and i was not disappointed at all. Aesthetics 100000/10 quality 100000000000/10 and a 10/10 read. I will say, mine did come with a few blemishes so not in perfectly new condition but the others outweigh this so im not pressed. Just yes.

I absolutely love this book!! Well written and insightful especially if your a beginner when it comes to design. I just wanted to learn how to style my home in a way that was meaningful and aesthetically pleasing and this book helps me do just that. It is also a great addition to any part of your home design but make no mistake it is a great read and beautifully photographed book!!!

The book is great but I’m extremely disappointed in how this book was packaged. It’s a hardcover book so it should have been any box however it was in a very soft envelope. Corners of the book we’re bent and overall it just looks very beat up.

The Art of Home by Shea McGee is not only beautiful book filled with gorgeous pics, yet also a remarkably helpful resource with info about how to mix colors, how to hang artwork, how to hang lighting fixtures, etc., etc. I’ve had it only a few weeks, and I’ve read it cover to cover several times and have used it as a resource for how high to hang a chandelier above a table. I read reviews about the book arriving damaged, yet mi e is flawless. It is beautiful displayed on a table in my great room.

Beautiful coffee table book and great to look through!

This book was a 5 star read for me! Shea McGee does a wonderful job of not only telling you how to arrange a beautifully decorated home, but also showing you how with a book full of stunning photos. I’m a visual person and it helps to see pictures of different styles and spaces so that I can recognize what I personally like, and what I don’t. What I loved most about this book was Shea’s practical tips on how to design a beautiful space (how to arrange throw pillows, considering the shape and texture of furniture and how to maximize the way each piece compliments each other, bringing in different textures, etc.). Not only is this book beautiful to look at and use as a decorative piece, but it offers so much beauty and practicality on the inside of the pages. If you’re looking for a wonderful resource on how to bring life and beauty to your home, buy this book! (The only reason I’m rating this item as 3 stars is because Amazon sent me a book in used condition. The cover had scuffs and oily smudges, and the back was badly stained. I was disappointed to pay $20 for a book that was in this condition. They sent me a replacement book that was in better condition, but it still had scuffs on the front cover. I wish Amazon would take better care when shipping books. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a smudged/scuffed book shipped to me. 😪)
