A High Quality Development Board
This is a great choice for an ESP development board. It's well made and comes in a quality package. There's no documentation included, but you can easily find that by searching on the part number [ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1] (the QR code on the box links to the documentation in Chinese). The manufacturer's documentation is about the hardware (pinouts, etc.) and is well written.I was able to easily find and install the macOS UART driver on the Silicon Labs website which worked flawlessly. After multiple false starts to setup an IDE to use Micro Python, I settled on using the Arduino IDE which includes support for this board. The false starts are related to my environment and have nothing to do with this board whatsoever. There are tons of example sketches in the Arduino IDE software. Some reviews say that the board is not well supported, but I didn't find that to be the case (in December 2024).I would recommend this devkit to anyone.

These boards are worth the extra price over buying non Espressif devkits
I've purchased a fair amount of ESP Devkits made by them directly and other vendors. I have found that these Espressif ones are of a higher quality overall. The text is always clean and easy to read. The silkscreening places the needed information in places that are intuitive and simple to find. On other hardware of then this is not the case. The PCB is quality and the components are attached cleanly. The RGB LED is often brighter and larger than some competitors and the pins are always straight and not soldering on crooked or at an angle. The devkit came packaged in a sturdy cardboard box that has a dense foam insert in it protecting the board in shipping. This is the only company that I've seen do this for a ESP32 product.Overall the quality of this product is above all others that I've used.

I love this Dev Kit
I have had such a blast with this thing already. Super easy to set up a WIFI access point or a Bluetooth connection. The photo is an RGB LED 12x12 matrix that I built with a WS2811 led strip. I wrote a sketch to create a wifi access point and let me control the matrix through a simple web interface. Scrolling text and various animations, etc. The chip set is super powerful with tons of great peripherals. Better than Arduino or The Pico/Nano stuff because of the wifi and Bluetooth. Get it.

A fun new developement board
Extremely well packaged. Limited test with onboard RGB LED was a fun first test .Worked well with Arduino IDE. Looking forward experimenting with this little board that has more power than existed when I was in school.

Great board!
This is very well done, and a great value, just like the evaluation/dev boards offered by Espressif.Works perfectly with Arduino IDE.
