I bought this guard cos from bjj I started to develop cauliflower ear. It caused so much pain that it was disturbing my trainings, so I decided to try out this guard. For me it works perfectly both for drills and rolls. Although, it does restrict hearing a bit, so you need to move closer to your trainer to hear him/her. I am bold so it fits perfectly tight and it didn’t shift during rolling. The one thing I would recommend though, is to set it up before training, because for me it took a bit of fiddling to find the perfect setting. Overall, I did recommended this to the lads in the club and I am 100% recommending it to everyone for BJJ. I would buy it again without hesitation.

I bought this as my ear has gone really bad bought this thinking it’ll be alright however the strap is extremely uncomfortable and the strap comes off as soon as any contact comes to play whilst sparring hard don’t recommend it one bit the ear guards don’t even protect your ears either as the pressure comes through the ear guards which defeats the purpose of what it’s for

This headgear is better then any others I have used. I have used it for about 1 year now so the logo is gone and the fabric shows very slight signs of wear but for me to have been using it 2-3 days a week for BJJ sessions it has held up incredibly well. It stays snug on your face and doesn’t choke you to death. My only complaint is the headgear can get hot but all in all no cauliflower ear and It doesn’t shift around when rolling so 5 out of 5 for me. Oh also very important, It doesn’t cause your training partners discomfort during rolling which is big for headgear. Just ordered a second set of these ear guards. First set is still being used 3 times a week, just wanted a second set for higher volume training weeks. I don’t have any negative comments about the ear guards after years of use. They do what they are intended to do, stopped my cauliflower ear from progressing further. They’re comfortable. Fairly easy to adjust, and should fit most people. The negative comments I’ve read I don’t believe actually represent the product well. If you’re looking for a comfortable bjj appropriate set of ear guards, these are a solid choice. Very happy with them.

Es muy bueno, soy bastante sensible a la oreja de coliflor y esto me ha protegido bastante. Tus compañeros del gimnasio muy probablemente te van a hacer bullying pero te acostumbras.

Picked this up for jiu jitsu while I had some ear issues. The headgear was easy to adjust to fit my head. I could hear but sounds were muffled which is to be expected. I didn’t have any issues with headgear wanting to come off my head even when opponent was trying a guillotine choke. My only small complaint is the chin strap if someone got their arm around my neck just right it would dig the buckle in for some discomfort but being choked isn’t exactly comforting. That is why I say small complaint. Protected my ears like it should.
