Very happy with purchase, looks exactly like photo. Packaged very well in a sealed bag with wet paper towel wrapped around roots to maintain it.

Stalks arrived in 7 days after shipped. Roots brownish, stalks grassy yellow hue but planted immediately in organic starter and potting soil mix. Only 2 did much, the rest simply faded out despite following directions. I decided to give the last 2 a chance and one is left but there was no way to contact the seller about them and since the exchange window is closed for amazon I guess I'm out of luck because Im unable to report this to the seller or amazon. Or I have a single lemongrass stalk that cost $24. I suspect the time they were in a box in shipping stressed them but who knows. UPDATE- reached out to seller listed by Amazon but after a week of back and forth, recovering the original receipt, he said they were not from him. The last stalk died about 3 weeks after the others. So I would advise to shop around, maybe message with the seller(s) first to determine reliability because if you buy them and they die at 31 days you're essentially out of that money. PS- I was recently told the local Asian market sells lemongrass stalks you can sprout yourself by the pound. Wish I had known this before this costly debacle. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Love my lemongrass! Followed instructions and they grew beautifully, only thing is if you buy for mosquitos it doesn’t work because u must crush leaves to get the wonderful lemongrass sent…still pretty and great for tea!

When I received the package, it was in a box and I thought oh man they’re supposed to be eight in here this possibly being so I get them open and yeah, there’s eight in there. They’re alive. They’re wrapped up in moist paper towels and plastic and I go ahead and I put them in the ground and they are growing like weeds. It’s unbelievable how fast sprouts has come up, so if you’re hesitating ,don’t ,grab some because they’re expensive at the stores and this is a little bit easier to do. You’ll have to wait till they grow completely of course but they’re a good start right now. !

Love these because they keep away deer cat and rabbits out of garden. Oh yah great for air freshener of that’s what appeals to you. I can’t have a flower garden without these planted too

The stalks were in excellent shape with some sprouting. They were packaged well. The care instructions were very detailed. I would have made care mistakes without them. I will be buying from them again.
