Assembly Free Chicken Coop, Foldable Chicken Run Cage Wooden, Extension Chicken Run Large Chicken Pen Rabbit Enclosure Duck House (White+Black Cover)

Folks, technically speaking this isn’t really a coop. However, I wanted to create a dust bath area for my girls during the winter separate from their runs/coops. This product is FABULOUS! The cover is good quality and the structure itself respectable quality, partially assembled with easy directions for the rest. I didn’t need my husband! I could see this being used to separate broody hens. Could be used for allowing a hen to raise chicks. Or for a sick hen temporary isolation coop. This to me isn’t a permanent type coop/run.

I love this portable coop, I used for my 3 Peking ducks while I was nursing them in their younger stages and they were in the house. Very easy to set up and move around the house. I do have to say that the wood used for this is a bit weak, as some of the areas that were nailed together for support have already worn out, but other than that it really is great to have on hand. I can use later on down the road if I decide to make babies or if one of them get sick.

This was perfect for us when we rescued some little ducklings and we needed to let them swim on our deck in a kiddie pool without letting them run away!

Misleading description! Should read minimum assembly! There is assembly required. Better instructions would be also a plus. Bought this to transition ducklings from brooder to big coop and run and integrate with the rest of the critters. Keep in mind this will not offer great protection on its own It is nice but not sturdy. The frame is thin wood and the whole pen is light weight While the pen itself is no assembly the hinged top still needs to be attached to the frame and is not marked on how to position it correctly therefore it took a bit of trial and error The latch for the gate and for the top also need to be installed onto the pen frame and door and lid. Not to hard but being such small pieces it is a bit tedious. The cover is good, offers protection from wind/ draft and some shade for the babies and gives them a sense of security when the other chicks are around until they get acclimated. I would not recommend putting it in yard and leaving unattended. A predator can easily get in. I use it in a secure run. Overall is ok if it will be used for a short period of time and a few critters We are housing two duckies that will probably outgrow it in a couple of weeks.

Poor quality and poorly made the coop isn’t made properly so the top lid doesn’t cover the coop completely and the side cover doesn’t fit around it full either

This was the perfect transition coupe for my chickens. It’s just the right size for 4 to 6 pullets before they are ready to integrate with the big chickens.
