My picky Pomeranian loves it!
Firstly, for those considering to buy the tornado, this feels like a premium product, it's sturdy, it's bigger than expected, it doesn't have that weird Chinese factory smell, it comes pre-assembled, so easy to start using and as you can see we're huge fans of their products! So build quality:No scratches yet, I'd say great durability! My dog is small, but destructive, he hasn't chewed on or broken one of these toys (yet anyway). But as far as this model goes, I think it would be good, even for big destructive dogs (always supervise though, and you know your dog best). The white bones might be enticing for a chewer. The bones are replaceable, but your dog is not. So bear that in mind.(Also regarding the bones, if you have the Brick puzzle, you automatically have 4 extra bones to use in this puzzle too. They're exactly the same, tried and tested 👍)My dog asked for his food to be put in this specific puzzle (uses buttons), which I thought was an accidental button press, but he loved it! He's the pickiest dog with so many food allergies, but he loved eating his food from this puzzle it seems!Cleaning:I'll use soap and water to wash the food out of this one, but usually for dry treats I just use an antibacterial wipe, seems to work brilliantly, no residue or stickiness.A note on boredom:Our dogs are smart, when they get the hang of a puzzle, they'll speed through it. So if you want to use it to keep them busy, maybe buy a few and alternate or use them together.TL;DR: worth every penny!

Cat thrilled
This Tornado toy is marketed to dogs. However, our Bengal cat is untouched by marketing and is clearly delighted by this. It is more complex than the Buggin Out "ladybird" toy, which he also enjoys, but he is finding the ladybird rather too simple now.Simple to clean, the Tornado has no awkward gaps that food particles can disappear into.. I am using it with torn up dried fish cubes, about 2 cubes per session. The Tornado retains our cat's interest as he determinedly works through the layers, carefully turning them this way and that until the treats are revealed. (He is very food motivated). At first, I offset the layers slightly so that the treats were just visible, to encourage him to investigate it. Now after a few days, I can put the toy down fully closed and he starts working on it.The optional white "bones" inhibit the layer above from turning and add extra complexity. At first he found them too confusing so I didn't deploy them. Once he understood the layers turning fully without the bones, I placed a treat under a bone on the bottom layer, where it allowed the top layer to turn but inhibited the middle layer. After some experimentation he managed to remove the bone and retrieve the treat from underneath it. I think the small hole in the bone enables him to smell out the treat and motivates him to retrieve it.The toy is providing him with more entertainment than a grown cat will normally admit to.

Puppy loves it
My 10 week old Cockapoo loves searching for food - which is good l put some of his daily quota of food (biscuits left to soak in water) in searching mats and now the tornado because it slows his eating down as well as helps his searching instincts, and exercises his brain as well as keeping him occupied for a while. It seems sturdy enough but personally whatever aged dog l would supervise- l think of it as being more of an interactive game a form of bonding with your dog.Purchased 2nd game dog brick medium level - 16 week Cockapoo worked it out within a few minutes - thoroughly enjoys it but need next levelPurchased level 3 - 18 week old Cockapoo again loved game - was a bit more challenging which he loves. It helps to channel his hyper times especially being a puppy on restricted excercise.Purchased level 4 - 6 month old puppy loved that he has a new challenge - only day one so plenty of time to practice and master, which l don’t think will take long

Fun, but not a challenge
Update: We're still using this now she's nearly a year old and it's fun, if not challenging. So up from one star to three.Took my five month old pup 90 seconds to defeat this. Was hoping for more. But it's not a bad part of her 'kibble four ways' thrice daily challenge.

Our pet loves it
We’ve not had this product long but my pet loves it! He’s a small dog so no issues re the durability or sturdiness of the product. At first he got a little frustrated with it (not understanding the aim of the game) but with practise he’s mastered it. It cures boredom, increases his problem solving skills and intelligence and we especially like how there are small white bones included in the box that are geared to make the game a little more difficult. (He’s still working on that part but it’s great). We recommend this product for small pets like ours!

My dog found it a little tricky but loved it!
This really challenged my dog’s mind and it was great! She really enjoys it, with a little practice now she’s able to solve it a bit quicker than before! It’s good quality thick plastic, but not very stable to keep upright so probably best with supervision. Great to keep your dog’s mind in good shape!

Great toy
We have an intelligent German shepherd cross, who is always in need of new toys and games to keep him occupied. We've started introducing him to these problem-solving type games and are so far very happy with this.My only (minor) feedback is that the toy doesn't have much to keep it stable when an excited dog is learning to figure it out. Even at the beginning stages we're at (using the base layer and one rotating, or only the base layer with the treat covers) we're having to find awkward ways to hold it a bit steady so he doesn't knock it completely over with every nose nudge or paw scratch. Placing it on a small table helped a little, but it does slide around a lot still. Regardless, our dog finds it lots of fun, which is the main thing.

Vassa underkanter!!
Kul grej!
