A Bug, a Bear, and a Boy is such a sweet and timeless story! My child loves the friendship between the three characters — it’s simple, gentle, and full of kindness. The illustrations are adorable, and the story teaches empathy and teamwork in a way that’s easy for young kids to understand. It’s become a bedtime favorite in our house, and I love that it encourages imagination and caring for others. Highly recommend for preschool or early readers!

This is a favorite with my 3.5 year old daughter, and it's one of the few books that I truly never tire of reading. Each chapter tells a story related to the size differences between the three characters. Each story is told simply and is really cute; plus, the alliteration of "a bug, a bear, and a boy," makes it fun to read out loud.

The illustrations are great. Keeps a young readers interest. Easy enough for them to read on their own with little to no help.
