The padding is firm but supportive, and the lumbar cushion and headrest make long sessions much more comfortable. The footrest is a nice touch—great for leaning back and relaxing during breaks. It's good for a budget chair, but my partner, brother and I all had them and have all since upgraded as after a while they get uncomfortable, and the arms are constantly coming loose! My lumbar cushion went flat pretty quickly too.
