Best CC cream I've found!
I've been going through primers, BB and CC creams like crazy over the past 6 months trying to find something to fit my needs. For me personally that meant: redness reduction, pore tightening/hiding, fine line hiding, and a smooth surface for my mineral powder make-up to adhere to. I have combination/sensitive skin with redness in the cheeks and nose, so it's not pretty to look at without make-up. I've been using mineral make-up since 2006, and recently added paraben-free natural cleansers to my regimen as well to help prevent the sensitivity and irritation. The redness and itchiness has decreased, but there is still some redness that isn't covered well enough by powder mineral make-up alone. Add to that that I'm now in my mid-30s, so my skin is beginning to show the signs of aging--fine lines, some dark spots, the laugh/frown lines, etc. and the mineral make-up isn't as flattering, long-lasting, and airbrushed looking as it was 8-9 years ago. I've tried L'Orรฉal, Avon, Ulta brand, Palmer's Eventone, Missha M BB Cream, a primer from a mineral make-up seller I use, but they all had issues. Some have silicon, so as I apply the mineral make-up the silicon starts to roll off. Most have parabens and other bad chemicals in them, most don't do enough to cover the redness or tighten the pores or fine lines. After buying another dud from Ulta (Catrice Prime and Fine), not two weeks ago, I decided to give Amazon a shot and see what they have. It's hard sometimes because I'm very conscience of the chemicals, that most options I have to reject out-right. I decided to give Lumene Time Freeze CC cream a chance. It's my understanding that perhaps I was asking too much from a BB cream or primer, and needed something more along the lines of "Color Correcting" (CC). This Lumene product really fits my top needs: the redness correcting (and it's not even green!), tightens/hides the pores, fills in the lines, and it makes my mineral make-up last twice as long. It doesn't rub off as fast (especially around the nose and mouth). I'm light skinned with a cool to neutral undertone, and this blends in absolutely perfectly with no yellowness or brassy copper tones. A light goes a long way; a tiny dot will cover one cheek completely, and it doesn't feel heavy at all, which is one benefit to mineral make-ups--it feels so light and breathable you forget you have make-up on. It covers even my poor skin so well, that I'm actually using far less mineral make-up than before, and my morning routine is now maybe 10 minutes faster, since instead of layering green color correcting mineral, then the pore hiding mineral, then the foundation, then the veil, I now just use the CC cream, do a dab here or there with my green corrector where there is a tiny bit of pink, then a quick buff all over for the foundation (skipping the pore hiding mineral completely), and another quick sweep with the veil. For those of you who have better skin than I do, I'd expect you could easily wear this as foundation alone. I definitely recommend this, and I will definitely buy this again when I start to run low.

I've never used the term "Holy Grail" until now ;)
This stuff is amazing! I have never used any type of BB or CC cream before so I honestly can't compare it to others BUT I will compare it to Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation (Liquid). Skin Type: Pale/Red, acne, oily I love my Estee Lauder but I have been searching for and trying cheaper alternatives and quicker ways to get ready in the morning. I was using a wet makeup sponge to apply my EL and though it didn't take much time, I wanted something I could just throw on real quick. After reading the reviews on this CC cream, I thought "why not? can't hurt anything" and boy am I glad I did! Not only does this stuff go on easily when applied with my hands (washed first), but it feels nice & light with surprisingly GREAT coverage!! I am the type of girl who can't leave the house with out some type of coverage because my red face/acne makes me insecure. I go for full-coverage everyday and with this stuff, it's a whole lot quicker a cheaper :D I am ordering more after I am done with this review lol The CC cream works well by itself, but I find setting it with a little powder helps it go ALL day and with oily skin, it helps take away the shine. I lightly set it using my Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder and it takes me about 2-3 min to get my full coverage now :D I bought this is the shade Light and it matches my skin perfectly (something I was struggling with the EL liquid). This product is completely inexpensive for what it provides. If you're not sure about it, you should just give it a try like I did...you've got nothing to lose!

Very pale? Hormonal acne? This is for you. Best CC cream I've used.
I'm 28 years old and I'm lucky enough to have this lovely skin combination: constant hormonal acne, very pale, eye wrinkles, dark eye bags, uneven skin tone and freckles! I generally wear "light ivory" foundation, if I'm tanned (ha-ha) then I may be able to pull off "ivory" foundation. My skin is currently as pale as it gets and I find this to be a near perfect match. I have very milky-colored skin, subsequently about 85% of all foundations, bb creams and cc creams I've ever bought tend to make me look either really orange or sometimes bright pink. This one actually works very well with my white skin, if i'm being picky I'd say it makes me a tiny bit pink but it really is a very good match overall. As for the acne, I find this greatly reduces the appearance of my zits, It hides most of the redness and I generally don't need any concealer unless the zit's are particularly bad. I've been using it for months and I haven't found it to cause any breakouts or worsen my acne at all. It evens out my skin tone beautifully and makes my freckles less visible. it doesn't completely mask them but I think that makes it look more natural. It's quite good at concealing dark eye bags, most days I don't even need concealer to hide them. It's very lightweight and you I can barely feel it when it's on, doesn't feel cakey at all. The only downside: It has a very matte finish, which I find accentuates my eye wrinkles, sadly.
