I give it an A+++
This is a very well-built kennel. My partner had it assembled in two shakes of a kitten’s tail. It comes with three extra screws and screw caps, which is generous and will come in handy. It was easy to transport from one room to another in the house. It’s got the type of door that a water bowl (not included) can be attached to with 2 screws and wing nuts. A shallow bowl would be best for a small animal. The door opens easily. I love the grey and black color. I bought mine for a small 8-9 week old kitten with an injured growth plate. He needs to remain confined. This kennel is the perfect size for him. The best thing is that litter boxes for small animals fit right inside in the back horizontally and don’t take up much room. They can even be slid in and out for easy cleaning without having to tip them, angle them or remove the door! I’ve had my kitten inside his kennel for 3 hours straight now and he hasn’t made a peep. He played, slept, ate, used his litter box and is sleeping again. I think he actually likes it. His kennel is on my bed where he can see me. I hope you learn more about this quality kennel from my photos and video.

Cat Carrier
Nice and roomy for a good size medium size cat. Worked out perfect for transporting cat. Sturdy with a sturdy lock. Very pleased with it.

Great dog crate, but still needs modifications for air travel.
As you'll know from other reviewers, this crate is GIGANTIC! The video review is just four pictures of my dog sitting and lying down in it, it's pretty short picture/slideshow/video. My dog is a male Rhodesian Ridgeback that's 32" tall and 42" long, and he can fit comfortably in it. If I had a choice, I'd probably be content to fly inside that thing rather than in a cramped passenger seat, if only I could still go to the restroom and get some free drinks and some food. There's some modifications you'll need to do before air travelling with the crate (depending on the airline). 1. You most likely will need to buy some 3/16"-24 metal wing nuts (15 of them, as you get 15 screws and 30 plastic wing nut fasteners that come with the crate), and use them instead of the plastic ones. 2. You may need to drill some holes in the rear of the crate for rear ventilation (Alaska Airlines doesn't need for you to do this). Otherwise, it's pretty much ready. Some extras I got to go in the crate: Midwest Quiet Time Pet Bed (42" by 26") - It's lightweight, and it fits perfectly with extra space around the edges (in case the dog needs to urinate, where it can get absorbed in the padding, and not the dog bed). While it's thin, the bottom of the crate has some give, so it's still pretty comfortable. Two Midwest Stainless Steel Snap'y Fit Water and Feed Bowl (1 Quart) - It's nothing exciting, but large enough for our sized dog. Note that for Alaska Airlines, you will need two bowls for your pet. Nature's Miracle Advanced Ultra Absorbent Pads for Pets (50 count) - In case he needs to go during air travel. There's a lot of pads, and you will only need like 10 pads for this crate. Basically everything we're looking for, but minus a star for how expensive it is, not having ventilation in the rear, and using plastic wing nut fasteners when almost all airlines now require rear ventilation and metal wing nuts. P.S. My dog is scared to death of thunderstorms, but now has his place to go hide in. He also likes to lay in it in the living room rather than a more comfortable dog bed that's not in a crate.

Sturdy, good size for cats. 🐈
Reliable and sturdy carrier. It comes with extra fasteners, which is a nice feature. I got this for my cats. Nice size. They all fit in here from my 7 lb petite girl to my youngest who weighs 14.5 lbs. I wouldn’t want him kept in there for hours, but it is comfortable enough for a trip to the Veterinarian. Super easy to assemble as well.

Solid and sturdy, you have to really whack the latches closed, be sure to sand vent edges before use
I first want to note that I bought mine from Warehouse Deals for a significant discount (more than 50% off) for the 15-20lb storm grey carrier. Mine was listed as “Used - Acceptable - Item has major cosmetic damages but is still usable. Item will come repackaged.” With this, you never know what you’re getting. I’ve seen broken/unusable, and I’ve seen like new... this one was like new! Score! It was repackaged but it had clearly never been put together. The screws and wing nuts were still sealed in their original container taped inside the lid. It had no major cosmetic damage, just some exterior manufacturing remnants on the bottom... I mean this is injection molded plastic, I cut a few off because I am a little OCD, but it was no biggie. I was thrilled for the price I paid. However, I would have been a little disappointed if I had paid full price. The carrier was not difficult to put together, just line it up, put the door in, give the latches a good solid whack, and screw in the screws and wing nuts (note, it came with one extra screw and wing nut which I appreciated). I suspect the latches are why mine was returned. This is key, these don’t just snap in easy, you need to really whack them... this is great because I don’t want loose, flimsy latches! If they are flush with carrier edges, they are NOT fully snapped on, see pic! This carrier is sturdy, fits together firmly and snugly. This was purchased to replace an older Petmate carrier to transport a 25 lb Maine Coon to the vet. (I know it says 15-20 lbs, but my boy prefers a snug carrier to feel secure and this is definitely large and sturdy enough to hold him without concern). It is a tad thinner than my old carrier of the same variety, but still more than adequate, no complaints. ONLY CON: The only thing I really did not like was something another reviewer mentioned: the interior of the vent holes was sharp. Many pets have anxiety in carriers, and move around or try to sniff the vent holes. My big boy could definitely cut his nose on those sharp vent edges. I took my dremel to them, lightly sanded and voila, problem solved in 5 minutes. If I had paid full price, I would have expected better quality control regarding safety for an item created specifically for pets. But, 5 stars. For what I paid, I am thrilled with my new carrier.

Not Worth The Money, Badly Constructed....
The carrier I got I had to literally open some of the holes more with a craft knife to get the screws through and even then the plastic bolts did not always completely screw in the metal bolts. I will be replacing the plastic washers with metal ones. There are a lot of sharp edges on this thing, fortunately outside, but I am not a fan of that. I cut myself a bit in a couple of places on my hands putting it together. Watch how you pick this carrier up or grab it because you could cut your hands even with it assembled if you pick it up by the sides where the bolts are. I'm going to take a sanding block to it to try to dull those areas so hopefully I won't be cutting myself again. I had a hard time getting the door in the grooves but I managed it. Do not tighten all the bolts before you put the door in or you will not be able to do that. It's keeping my new wild child kitten in okay so far and it's got plenty of room for her to play with all her toys. I bought it because she ripped apart a plastic playpen and escaped in about 5 minutes. So this is a much better solution if you have an adventurous small pet with sharp claws and teeth than those flimsy play pens. This is definitely not the best carrier I've ever had. Given it wasn't exactly cheap that is not cool. It should have real bolts not these crappy plastic ones that barely work. The edges should not be rough like this. They should be sanded down so that you aren't risking plastic cuts if you move or pick this carrier up by anything but the handle. The holes in the sides should be all the way open. It's ridiculous that some were half closed and I had to use a craft knife to correct that. That's just shoddy workmanship and given it's supposed to be something that can keep your animal safe and inside I have my doubts that it would work well for anything bumpy like a car or long plane ride. I'd give it ZERO stars if I could....
