and I don't feel like I had as much arch support with these as ...
I think I'm not a huge fan of the Minimus style. It's cut a bit narrow and squishes my toes, and I don't feel like I had as much arch support with these as I did with all of the other trail sneakers I have bought. Also, to echo the other reviewer who said they made her feet point oddly like she was pigeon toed, they took some getting used to because of the odd angle on the inside. It's not an issue with narrow sneakers. I love Pumas for fashion sneakers in part because they are so narrow. It was just very unexpected from New Balance.I'm a service industry manager and have to be on my feet for 45+ hours a week; as you can imagine, it's been a cramped and uncomfortable couple of months. :( I kept them thinking they just needed to break in, but I was wrong.

My Favorite Shoe
I first came across these shoes in Tokyo last year when visiting for 2 weeks. The shoes I brought were giving me blisters and were terrible in terms of support. Hesitant to purchase because of the pink accents, I decided to purchase them anyway because they fit well, had good support, and I had been dragging around my traveling buddy for two days trying to find a new pair of shoes for the trip. These turned out to be THE best shoes I've ever purchased. I still have the ones I bought in Tokyo and bought a second pair this year. Note, at first they may feel snug. I bought the pair in my regular size, but wide. Once you wear them in a bit they will perfectly hug your foot. I've used them for everyday walking, pavement running, treadmill running, hiking throughout northern and central California (including Yosemite), and my trip in Tokyo. They're durable, comfortable, and minimalist.Wish they would keep manufacturing them in size 7C/D!

and the outsole is pretty stiff (good for durability)
These are a little narrower in the toe box and shorter than my other New Balance Minimus shoes, and the outsole is pretty stiff (good for durability). The midcushion is nice though, and I didn't have any pain in my shins or knees when I took them out on the road (I think this is more of a trail shoe?). Overall good but if you're looking for a softer ride, keep looking. These are for those who already have efficient running form and are used to more minimal shoes.

Feet too sensitive
I wanted to love these shoes. I was tired of stability shoes trying to make my feet go a certain way, but . . . I am returning them. The bottoms of my feet are sensitive and I could feel the treads of the soles as I walked. To echo other reviewers, the shoes are shaped so they they appear to curve but if you can get over the look, they are comfortable as there are no restricting bands across toes. As I tend to walk on the outside of my feet (supination) these shoes allowed a more natural position that made it feel like I was walking more neutral.

Just what the doctor ordered
Lightweight, perfect amount of soft cusion, flexible, and hopefully durible.I recommend these guys for short runs on somewhat smooth surfaces.I love them for doing my circuits at the gym too.My only complaint is that the toe seem rubs a bit and I had to get a 1/2 size bigger and wider as this runs narrow and small.Otherwise just what the doctor ordered to strengthen my feet and prevent the return my plantar faciatis.Plus, they are super cute. Bonus!

can't have it all...looks great, fit is so-so
Cute pair of shoes, only decided to keep them because I couldn't part with the green awesome-ness once I saw them in person. Tried them on and they were a little snug (as other reviewers have written), but they fit well. They don't offer much cushion or support. On my first run in them I felt very flat-footed, and it felt as though my arches were dropping. I guess they are a minimalist type shoe, so maybe some people will like them for what they are.I wouldn't buy them again, but I will definitely wear them now that I have them.

Close, but not quite as nice
These shoes were nice and fit as expected, but the women's 3090v2 ended up being more padded and comfortable than the 1010's, although these looked more stylish. These didn't look like they were made very sturdy, either. They had a lot of messily glued seams that made it seem as thought the inspector was on his lunch break from QC just as these rolled through. I don't think I would have bought them if I'd seen them in person first.

Great for my narrow feet, but....
it does run shorter in length, as mentioned in other reviews. I wear a 9.5 2A in running shoes. I'm exchanging this pair for a 10 2A. Other than the length, I have no other complaint. I do really like this shoe.Received the size 10 2A very promptly. It fits just fine. Shoe is lightweight and very comfortable.

Not as advertised
Advertised as uk size 8 but received us size 8 which is uk size 6. Very small sizes in general. Nice design but complete mess up with the size.

Sale
I bought this shoe because it was on sale. I usually wouldn't be able to afford such a shoe. But oh my - it is utter crap. It looks cheap and nasty and the sole curves weird. I am so not impressed. If this is how the other half live - I'll stick with poverty and a pair of sketchers.
