I purchased the i play Ultimate Snap Swim Diaper in size 12 months (18-22 lbs) and they were a perfect fit for my little guy. My son began wearing the swim diaper at about 16 lbs. They seemed small when I first put them on, and I thought the wouldn't last a month - but I was wrong. Once the suit was wet it seemed just right and the tight fit helped keep the swim diaper on, and the diaper contained. He just wore them again on his 10 month birthday and although they were quite snug, they worked well. At 10 months he weighs 23 lbs and is 29.5" long. The leg openings were small so I just left the bottom button unsnapped. The snaps were strong enough to stay together even with one undone. The swim diaper held up well in the washing machine as well. I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 if there were snaps on both sides so you could adjust the leg openings on both sides by leaving buttons undone. I just ordered another pair in the next size up. I would highly recommend this swim diaper and suggest following the weight sizing chart (not the months), and size up if you are unsure.

We bought our first re-usable swim diaper from Target (this brand) and had no problems with the fit. I purchased 2 to use over this summer when we practically lived at the beach or in the pool and the fit was noticeably smaller than the one I bought at target. My LO is on the small side for a 2 year old as well (10-15% for weight) so I can't imagine this fitting a normal sized 2 year old. Unfortunately, I don't see getting more than one summer of wear out of these, which is disappointing considering how expensive they were. They are cute prints and well made though. . .

This is the 3rd size of this product I've used so I am sure I'll be happy with it. Unfortunately, it's not actually the pattern I ordered. When I ordered "Olive" it had a few more colors and chameleon/lizards on it. After my order, there is suddenly the image of the dinosaur pattern I received (called "green" in the product descriptions. So, be careful if the pattern is super important to you.

I love this swim diaper but I am returning it. The picture on amazon matched the hat I bought, but then didn't show up the same pattern in my cart or when it came in the mail. My son is 10 months old but is in 18 months clothes. I bought this in an XL 18-24 month. it is tight on his thighs and waist. I'm going to return for a bigger size because I really like the concept.

I love this suit but it was too small for my 2 year old. The buttons. On the side popped open when he moves. I ended up sewing an elastic binding strip to each side and now it's great. Still disappointed it didn't fit on its own. Most of his clothes are 3t so I figured this should fit great. But it was too tight and left lines around his waist and legs. He's 36 lbs.

I wish that this "diaper" was a bit more absorbent. I happened to put it on too soon so when baby decided to pee in it, it soaked through onto my shirt. It is however, so cute that I don't even cover it with board shorts. My baby is the only one in swim class wearing a speedo! Love it!

Had a few pairs for my daughter. Now that baby boy is here, we bought him a pair. Still work great. He's much chunkier than our daughter was so we sized up significantly. He's 4 months and 17 pounds and he fits well into the 12 month size. Great thing about amazon is that you can always return them without any hassle if they don't fit! The snaps are what make this product so amazing. Makes getting a soiled swim diaper off much easier. But it also helps with they're wet and are hard to pull off soft baby skin.

The swim diapers fit a little on the small side. The leg holes are meant to be snug to keep messes in. The quality and fabric is great. Overall, it's a good swim diaper. Watch Zulily for better deals though, when iPlay products show up there, the diapers at $6.

Be careful when ordering this, my son is 2.5 and within the weight range and look what it did to his thighs....refund obtained no problem though
