Definitely worth the money
I hear people constantly talk about what scope rings are best. I think they forget that Weaver has been around getting the job done for decades. And these are steel, not aluminum. So if you shoot in different temperature extremes, you don't have to worry about the metal expanding and contracting like aluminum does. Definitely works for me.

Great quality.
Nothing to dislike about these rings. Have mounted them and put a scope on but haven’t run any rounds yet to see how they hold up on my slug gun.

Good rings for price. Just needing a little lapping compound to smooth inside rings
I like these scope rings. Used little lapping compound to smooth rings against scope. With just a little lock tite all screws threaded nicely. Fit nicely on young daughters Savage .270. She has decent scope 4x12 40mm Nikon. Its a good set up and fits her and rifle. Just right height for her. Got different brand of high rings but she liked medium best for this set up. For price you cant go wrong and moderate recoil of .270 is no problem. Next rifle for her will be 6.5 Creedmore and will likely buy same rings. Maybe large size since I will get her a better scope likely in 50mm class objective lens. I know rings will still handle that recoil, her range and power increase as bullets we will use are longer 140-160gr plus have great bc.

need more paint
I've used these matte colored rings on several rifles with excellent results mechanically. The only negative point I have is the quality of the paint job on them. They need more than what would appear to be just one quick pass through the paint spraying process.

Cant go wrong with a classic.

Great rings!
Rings look and work great on the weaver bases I ordered. For best results, use a torque wrench, like a Wheeler fat-wrench to apply the correct torque (15- 20 in-lbs for steel rings) carefully in steps (e.g., start at 5 in-lbs, 10, 15...) while alternating diagonally. In case you have bad luck with threads as some posters claim, check first that you can install screws before mounting to the base and scope; it is possible to cross thread if you're not careful. If the screws refuse to thread nicely, you'll identify the problem before scratching up your scope or adding blue Loctite (I use that only on base-receiver screws).

Made in USA, top shelf quality!
Excellent quality and one of the few rings that are still Made in the United States of America which is the only reason I bought them in the first place. I looked for days for scope rings that were still made in USA. I didn’t experience any of the issues some others reported with the threads stripping. My rings installed with ease and look/function perfectly. I’m picking up a spare set just to keep around in case they move manufacturing of these overseas.
