Good quality and value
Each can has two or three whole peppers. They taste great. Good value too.

Delicious With Many Uses
This review focuses on the product. I’ll address the shipping issue separately. This is a great product for several reasons:1. The peppers are in water rather than oil. This way you can control both the type and amount of oil (if any) in your recipe.2. The peppers are left whole. They are not mushy and still retain some crunch. This allows you to prepare the peppers (strips, chunks, etc.) as desired for your recipe.3. Buying four large cans in bulk offers considerable savings over the typical 12-ounce jars. You can prepare and freeze the peppers in smaller amounts if you can’t use a full can at once. There were four large peppers in the first can I opened. The flavor is excellent. I made a roasted red pepper-butternut soup (see pictures of soup and recipe) that was delicious. Given that the peppers were the main ingredient it is definitely their high quality that made the difference. Now to the shipping. Three of the four cans arrived with big dents. (See pictures.) Amazon will say that food items are not returnable. However, my view is that it is the shipper’s responsibility to properly package the food. In this case, the cans were thrown into an oversized box with no padding. It’s amazing that one can was NOT crushed. I called Amazon customer service and they made it right. It’s why I continue to buy food items through Amazon despite the risk. For those who receive crushed cans due to poor packaging, CALL Amazon customer service. Insist, calmly, that they make it right. If they don’t, you may want to reconsider buying these types of items from this source.

excellent quality
I have been buying these for a several years now. I developed an issue with cooked tomatoes and tomato sauce. I now make a roasted red bell pepper sauce with this product....it's awesome and so easy to do. You just open the can, drain and then put in the blender to your preferred consistency. You can add spices that you like, warm it up and its a go! The peppers are so tasty and perfect for sauces, soups etc!

Delicious peppers, 5 stars, but:
NO protection in packing in a flimsy box, no bubbles, no peanuts. 4 out of 4 cans arrived badly dented. I put you on delivery every 6 weeks - please, start packing like Amazon used to pack!

Dented & Dangerous
Not good every can showed up dented, which is dangerous cause it could be a possible sign of botulism

An Essential Ingredient for my red sauce
My wife and I cook a lot at home. One of our daughters likes a simple red sauce - no meat - just vegetables. She particularly likes the roasted red peppers. I don't think she'd ever tasted a roasted red pepper before I used it in a pasta sauce. We love the quality and freshness of these peppers.I know, I could roast my own peppers by hand and if I was a trained chef, maybe I could learn. However, these peppers are so good, I'm not going to try to do it myself. As it is, we simply slice them into more bite sized pieces before they become part of the sauce. I'm very picky about what goes into my red sauce and this is definitely a keeper.
