This tin snips has smooth body to hold and overall feels sturdy and tough. Overall body feels smooth and has good thickness and does not feel roughness. The cutting experience is smooth, sturdy and sharp. It has a good locking mechanism to hold the blades closed. The handle is also comfortable to hold with its rubber like material. Its blade is sharp and it cuts metal sheets effortlessly and feels it is a quality snip tool. At about $8, I think this is a good value and a good sturdy tool.

This tool is amazing! I got them for cutting linoleum and craft wood/metal panels, but found a great bonus use for them. My dog loves rawhide treats, and sometimes these cow or pig ears are massive! These shears cut through the thickest rawhide with no problem whatsoever! I've never been able to cut those things in the past with any tool (scissors, wire cutters, even a hacksaw!) but with these shears, now I can quickly and easily cut them into smaller strips. They are so easy to use! The handles have a rubber coating on them so they are easy to grip and use with one hand; tension keeps them open so you just squeeze the handles to make them cut. It has a handy locking hook to keep them safely closed when not in use.I did not expect such a durable, heavy duty tool for such a great price, seems like they should cost a lot more. I'm very happy to add these shears to my tool collection, they will be used quite often for sure!

These snipes do cut well and even some thicker gage was only a little bit of a challenge to cut. I was able to cut fairly straight lines even with the thicker material. Good item that does the job you need.

I’m really happy and impressed with this product. I wouldn’t be surprised if these rolled off the same factory line as the one that makes a brand sold at a particular big box home improvement store. In fact, even the hexagonal logo is similar. I took these out to my shed and cut some scrap tin roof panels, and the snips were sharp and cut through the tin like butter. I can’t speak to how long these may last over time, but I don’t have any reason to suspect that they won’t perform equally as well as name brand competitors.
