Good cleaner and lubricant. Has strong aerosol spray so it can blast out junk from hard to reach crevices. Has no scent which is what I prefer. Much better than the Break free brand which has a lousy spray delivery mechanism; that one is definitely overrated, and overrun by hype heavy 5 star reviews.

Love this product. After a day at the range and you got some cleaning to do anything that speeds things up it's a good thing. Easy to use and does a good job

Works very well on all my pistols and AR-15’s. I will always use this and never hopps.hopps went out in the 1980’s..This is much easier to use.just spay and wipe.How hard is that.it lubricates,cleans,and preserves all in one spray.i like it so much i subscribed to it every month for delivery

Lucas Spray CLP is an excellent lubricant, deposit cleaner, metal conditioner, rust preventative. It ticks all the boxes for gun maintenance. I stopped using all the name brand oils I've been collecting over the years. They are now all in the back of the cabinet unused.

Been using Hoppe 9 and another gun oil for a while, and wanted to give this a try. After using it, I'd probably just use this forever going forward. It works pretty well. The aerosol format allows easy application to a lot of area. This is the biggest advantage of my previous products, where I was brushing Hoppe 9's and gun oil to various places -- hard to get all the crevices. This just easily applies and does everything at once. It's not runny unless over applied. I noted that it doesn't dissolve gun powder as Hoppe 9's, but good enough that it doesn't really matter, as I just need to wipe a little bit more. It's great that the product is said "safe" on wood stock, though I'm still careful to wipe off the extras, to avoid premature erosion of the wood. Overall, I'd probably just use this forever, since it really saves a lot of hassle -- just spray in the chamber, wipe off, and then do the same to the magazine mouth if needed. Used this with a bore snake down several barrels (always same direction as the bullet travels, never reverse), and it the snake went through easy. Pretty happy with the result. This product sprays in a green oil, and easy to apply with a cotton patch. Finally, this product is weirdly pleasant to smell. I don't know why. Hoppe 9 has a good smell too, but this one is nice. Note, that this product is extremely flammable, and is in a compressed can, so best not to store in a place like an uninsulated garage in the summer.

Way better than the liquid bottles, much more practical in a very controllable application, the product it self is great and does exactly what is designed for and does it well. Good lasting protections and lubrication of internals, the oil thickness is not a heavy neither a lighter one, just perfect for what is intended to be used for.

I have been using this Aerosol spray along with the Lucas Extreme Duty gun oil and my guns have never ran better. For years I have used Breakfree CLP which I thought worked perfectly fine, which it does... But with the Lucas, it works so much better. As a CLP, you can use this to both clean and keep your gun lubricated. But from personal experience, to get the most out of your gun oil product, use this to clean and then coat your parts with the extreme duty gun oil. Here is how I use it: 1. Disassemble your firearm and spray this Lucal CLP Aerosol on all your carbon caked parts and spray it down the bore of the firearm. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. This will help the CLP break up the carbon fowling. 2. Wipe clean all the carbon fowling and clean your firearm. 3. Use the Lucas Extreme duty oil to coat the high friction areas. 5. Enjoy a well cleaned, well oiled, and well functioning firearm. Some other things: This CLP doesn't have the disgusting oily chemical smell that most typical CLPs have. It actually smells pretty decent. It is also more of a greenish color than a yellow/orange. You wont regret this purchase!
