GLOVEWORKS Nitrile Gloves Disposable Orange 8 mil

I bought these mainly for automotive work and other projects where thinner disposable gloves tend to tear quickly. The 8 mil thickness makes a noticeable difference. They feel much more durable than standard nitrile gloves, but I can still handle tools, bolts, and smaller parts without feeling like I am wearing bulky work gloves. The textured surface provides good grip, especially when working around oil, grease, cleaners, or wet surfaces. The bright orange color is also more useful than I expected because the gloves are easy to spot in the garage, and it is easier to notice tears or heavy contamination. The XL size fits as expected for me. They are snug enough to stay in place without restricting movement. They can get warm during longer jobs, but that is normal for a thicker disposable glove. These cost more than basic thin nitrile gloves, but they also last considerably longer during demanding work. I would rather use one durable pair than repeatedly replace cheaper gloves that rip halfway through a job. Overall, these are a solid choice for automotive repairs, equipment maintenance, painting, cleaning, and other dirty or chemical-heavy tasks. I will likely purchase them again.

These gloves are fantastic in every way and they are an absolute God-sent for mechanics. I can't praise the durability of these gloves enough. They are powder free, soft on your hands, fit well, never rip, and still allow you to have a very good tactile feel of what you're working on while also maintaining a solid grasp on slippery tools due to the diamond etched pattern on the palms. They look a little weird in the bright orange color, but it's a good thing because it's easy to see grease and grime on them against the orange color so you know when you should wipe the gloves off or remove them before using the glove to touch a clean surface such as a door handle or other clean surface. I mostly use them for oil and fluid changes on my vehicles, brake jobs, and scrubbing dirtbike and motorcycle chains with kerosene loaded rags. During the lengthy chain scrubbing process, you often scrape your hand against the side of the chain accidentally and this usually tears regular disposable gloves. I have used the same several times for scrubbing different chains, and there isn't as much as a scratch on them... talk about tough! I recently used a pair to do rear drum brakes on my girlfriend's car, and these things stood up to an absolute onslaught of abuse and never punctured or tore, even though they were doused repeatedly in corrosive brake cleaner spray that is loaded with chlorine. I even pinched them in between the sharp edges of the springs on the drum brakes at least 3 times and thought for sure they had ripped, but I checked them out when I was done and there was no visible damage to the glove anywhere. I have still yet to rip, puncture or otherwise damage a single glove from these after using 6 pairs for various automotive repair jobs. I actually saved my last pair after the job was finished because I want to see just how many times I can use them before they fail. I ordered them in a size medium and they fit me a bit tight at first but they will stretch a tad and fit well after a few minutes and give me perfect tactile feel with such fitment. I'm about 5-8 and 145 pounds and my hands are about 7 1/2 inches on the palm side when measuring from the beginning of my hand(just at the beginning of my palm, after the wrist) to the end of my middle finger. If I spread my fingers out wide and measure across on the palm side from my pinky to the thumb, it's about 8 1/4". I think a size Large might have been a bit more comfortable at first use, but would probably be a bit baggy and possibly reduce sensation and finger sensation and dexterity. Just a little FYI about disposable gloves.... you should always store them in a Zip-Lock bag in preferably out of sunlight and extreme temperatures so that the material doesn't break down and degrade due to exposure to the air and sunlight, so just toss the whole thing (box included) right inside a large ziplock bag once you've opened it to make sure they last a long time in storage between uses. I absolutely will order these gloves again without any hesitation whatsoever when the time comes to replenish my remaining stash of them and I recommend them to every mechanic who wants to protect their hands from chemical and weather exposure as well as the cuts and scrapes that go along with automotive work. They are head and shoulders above the Black Lightning disposable gloves that I used to use prior to these.

They’re rubber gloves. There really isn’t much more to say. They are durable, fit well, and hold up great when I’m working in the garage. The textured surface gives them a good grip, even when handling slick or greasy parts, and they don’t tear easily. The bright orange color also makes them easy to spot when I inevitably set them down somewhere stupid. No complaints. They do exactly what I need them to do.

These gripping gloves are great! They fit well and are thick and sturdy, making them perfect for various tasks. Trying to use vinyl gloves in the past was such a pain. My hands are bigger than average and they would always break. Then I found these and I've been using them ever since. They fit great and are textured, giving a little extra grip. I do think they're a bit pricy, but beggars can't be choosers. Overall, great product.

I buy these for my millwrights and mechanics at work and they never get holes in them. They have never once complained about them, and trust me if they didn’t like them I’d hear about it. These are my main store stock item in 3 sizes.

I left this review on a previous purchase of these gloves so I will add to it a little. The last box has been getting low and i haven’t been able to find them available in XXL and you need to order these a size larger than you would normally wear as they run small. I didn’t want to waste any money going with another product because these are hands down the BEST heavy duty nitrile gloves out there. No doubt. They aren’t leather gloves so yes, under certain heavy use conditions they are going to tear. But by the time these will rip, you would have gone through probably 4 pairs of other gloves under the same circumstances These are definitely expensive, but worth every penny. I reuse the same pair all the time. They are literally that strong and durable. Original review: I’ll keep this short and sweet. I must have purchased 100 different so called ”heavy duty” nitrile gloves and they never stood up to the work. These are the gloves you want. They’re thick and durable and you can still hold onto nuts and bolts. Don’t try to put them on below 40°. Put them in your pocket and warm them up first, so you don’t rip them. All frequently reuse these a few times until they were finally ripped after many successful uses. The size is true. I bought extra large.
