I ordered five boxes of these bricks to line my outdoor fireplace. I was a bit skeptical about ordering them due to all of the people who received broken bricks. Of 150 bricks, only one was broken in half and was still usable, one had a chpped corner and was still usable. The bricks are light, easy to cut and easy to work with. Inititial impressions are very positive. Hopefully they will hold up long term,

5 broken bricks when delivered. Work good for bottom on Santa maria grill. Did the job. Should make bottom metal last a long time.

Approximately 1/3 of the bricks arrived broken, which speaks to the lack of care in packaging and to the fragile nature of the bricks themselves. These bricks are VERY light weight and not durable for use in boiler fire boxes or kilns where there may be any impact at all.

30 for 30 on good bricks. I was expecting 5 to 12 to be broken. They must have improved the packaging, or the reports for the broken ones were the 3/4" bricks. These are 1-1/4.

The packing of the product was poor and many of them arrived broken. The Quality of the brick is also very poor. Too flimsy, sponge-like and breaks easy. Good thing I bought enough quantity to replace the broken ones.
