I just got this watch and I've very impressed with it, especially for the price. As any field/military watch should be it is very clear and easy to read. I chose the black case with white on black color and it's very sharp. It looks like it should cost 5-10x more (or more). The 40mm (although I measured it at about 39.5mm) size is perfect with much of that being the watch dial itself. It actually looks bigger than 40mm on the wrist, almost like a 42mm. So if you're worried 40mm might be too small it's not. It would still be great at 38mm. The silicone/rubber strap is very soft and comfortable, and would be good for all-day wear. The crystal is flat and is raised a little above the bezel. The crown action is very good for setting the time. The hands don't get loose or jump around when the screw is pushed back in. The date is a little trickier to set as the first position of the crown doesn't lock in very well and goes back to running/zero position easily. But that isn't an issue unless you have to move the date several days. Adjusting from 31 to 1 or 28 to 1 won't be an issue. The watch came with a plastic collar to hold the crown out in time setting mode to prevent the watch from running until worn by the owner which is nice. The second hand hits most (75-80%) of the markers on the dial which is better than expected at this price. The hands are polished silver with a little lime on the hour and minute hands. The numbers are not lumed. I thought the hands were white based on the pictures, but polished silver is just as easy to read on this dial. The description on Amazon set 30m WR, but the face says 50m and case back says 5ATM. I don't know that I'll ever test it in the pool but I'll feel good about wearing this watch in other water situations. The build quality is amazing for $10. No wonder it has a 4.4 star rating based on over 4700 reviews. Get this watch if you want a decent, easy to read, inexpensive field watch. If you want something a little bigger, LN Lenquin makes a similar one at 42mm that is also well reviewed. I plan to update this review after I've owned this watch for a few more months. Hopefully I'll still have only good things to say. But hey it's $10!!!

I’ve had this watch since March now and I’ve been satisfied ever since. It’s both reliable and sturdy, and I have been complimented with the watch since. I am also satisfied with the design, it is nicely lightweight, so I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants an analog watch that also shows military time (which in truth was also why I bought this watch). One thing I would very much like to suggest as an improvement is to also add the glow in the dark effect on the numbers and not just on the hands (also the description is a little misleading, unless the watch gets light, you won’t see the hands and thus defeats “the read in the dark” feature.)

For $9 you can’t ask for much. This is a great day watch though. I won’t be sorry if it gets banged up a little because it’s durable and cheap. The band feels secure and reasonably comfortable. I can wear it all day, not have to take it off while doing dishes, even work in the engine bay with it. I am left with a couple of wants that will make me get another everyday watch though. It doesn’t glow in the dark. And it was annoying that the minute hand kept moving off its mark as I was setting the time. It kept doing that until I finally got it right. I have no idea how to avoid this problem. Additionally, the date is hard to read, hence why it’s a day watch and not much else. Good watch though. Still okay for its price, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm pretty rough on things but this watch is a trooper. Keeps accurate time. Not a single complaint!

I needed to order a watch as I was moving and couldn't find my smart watch. This had a great price and it turns out I now use this everyday over my huge smartwatch.

Packed well & very nice watch

Had this watch for 1 year 7 months when the battery died. No problem, I thought. It has 4 teeny tiny screws in the back that are for a phillips screwdriver that is impossible to find. Used a straight edge screwdriver from an eyeglass kit that barely was small enough. Very difficult to unscrew to remove back. Battery difficult to get out. The battery size is SR626SW (which is not in the description). Other than battery replacement, has been a good watch. Especially for the price. : )

Read reviews and so fairly happy to order. At a really good price point, very nice watch, quality of both watch and strap looks excellent. Feels good on my wrist, very comfortable not always the case. Nice clear dial, went for simple white on black, and it is very clear even with my old eyes. Happy, and hope it keeps good time.
