Why did you pick this product vs others?: We recently got the BABY JOY 18-inch kids bike for our 5-year-old, and it's been a fantastic choice! The bike arrived mostly assembled, just had to attach the handlebars and pedals and was ready to ride in under 10 minutes. The adjustable seat and handlebars ensure it’ll grow with our child, and the sturdy frame feels solid and safe. The dual brake system (handbrake and coaster brake) is a great feature, giving our little one more control as they learn. Plus, the removable basket is great for carrying toys or water bottle. Overall, it's a well-built, stylish bike that makes learning to ride exciting and fun!

Lovely bike and worth the money imo. I'm on a budget and can not afford to buy everything my grand kids want. He loves Spiderman, but I have 4 kids to buy for and I can't afford the name brand always. I found this little bike in the Spidermans colors. It's his first real bike and I think he'll love it. I believe just the colors will satisfy him and I bought a black helmet and he'll be ready to roll. It came completely put together in the box except for the handle bars. Even ole granny can put it together easily and quickly. Highly recommend this little bike and he will be able to ride it for many years. The tires and seat adjusts.

Update: The baby joy company is sending a replacement front wheel and hand brake system. So while customer service is a bit slow (one email per day), it's worth it. Original review: I want to love this bike, but it arrived damaged. The front tire is misshapen, and while adjusting the front braking system to work properly, the screw holding it to the bike snapped. I do not want to return the bike, as it's already assembled, I just want replacement parts!

INITIAL REVIEW: This was the most complicated bike I have ever tried to put together. Unlike other reviews, none of our bike came together already assembled, everything was completely separate. We have been working on it for a little over an hour now and still having issues putting it together. The illustrations and directions in the assembly manual do not match the actual bike which makes it even more difficult to try to assemble. I feel like I received a completely different bike than all these reviewers who left 5 stars. UPDATE I initially thought I had assembled it incorrectly, so I took it to a bike shop for help but they confirmed the bike itself is defective and made with low-quality parts. Even after paying for professional assistance, it remains unsafe to ride. Multiple safety concerns: - Pedals get stuck while in motion - Handlebars do a complete 180 turning to the right and a 360 turning to the left - Brakes are misaligned - Screw for the brake handle is the wrong size - Brake requires ADULT FORCE to be pressed - Basket won’t attach - Wrong front reflector was sent - Training wheels different height - one training wheel will not touch the floor Some of the most serious issues (pedals and steering) only happen while riding, so they can’t even be properly shown in photos, but they make the bike dangerous to use. The bike is already assembled and cannot reasonably be disassembled to fit back in a box, which has made the return process even more frustrating. Overall, this is a major safety concern, not just a cosmetic issue. I would not recommend this bike to anyone, especially for a child

Good bike but one tire won’t inflate

my kid loves it. 16 inch bike was good choice for a small 8 year old. bike sounded like a bolt was loose after putting it together. after 1 ride sound went away . magic!

When the bike was assembled it was unusable - breaks barely worked, bell was completely broken, and it was impossible to get the training wheels even. Returning.
