GOOD LUCK trying to scrub a raspberry!
NOTE: This review has been updated after a week’s use. Please note UPDATEs at the bottom of the review:________________________________________This is SO welcome in our kitchen! One of the most healthful and beneficial ways to get life-enhancing nutrients from our food is through fruits and vegetables and grains. But you can’t scrub a raspberry or scour a grape! Also washing rice or quinoa or other tiny grains is impossible! This OH-ion purification technology claims to get our delicate foodstuffs clean of all the dirt, bacteria, and harmful chemical residues without crushing or smashing the delicate structure of the food!Trouble is, without testing tools not usually found in a common kitchen environment, there is no way for me to PROVE it works, but here’s the key:I wash the delicate food with plain water, or often a vinegar solution. So I am not doing anything LESS by using this machine— and I MIGHT BE (and I trust that their claims are true) doing MUCH MORE!So there is no added risk of consuming contaminated food by using this, but there could be a drastically DECREASED danger. So— nothing lost and potentially a LOT gained of health, safety, and purity. It’s a win/win.I attached some pictures of the maiden voyage of my new fruit “washing machine”.Evidently this machine electrolyzes the ions in the cleaning water in which the food is soaking, separating it into hydrogen and hydroxide ions. These naturally combine with ions already in the water, which removes residues __by 99%__ and decomposes harmful substances. So I’m all in. This does no harm and makes healthy eating safer and easier. Can’t beat it.The machine does not need to be turned on— it is motion activated, so just set it in the cleaning water and it automatically turns itself on and when it is finished it will shut itself down. The manual states that some things should be “washed” twice. I will do that for everything anyhow; maybe three times. There is a charging base that is NOT waterproof or even water resistant, so put it up away from danger. In the package is conveniently included a full set of instructions and a charging cord.Good luck with healthy eating WITHOUT scouring your raspberries or individually scrubbing each individual grain of rice! This is a FANTASTIC kitchen tool.UPDATE:I’ve drastically reduced my star rating because the automatic “on and off” function does not function properly any more. When the device is placed into the water it now turns itself off and will not restart in the water. I will contact the company and see what to do and update from there.RESOLUTION:Customer service was quick and helpful. It was user error, evidently. I have UPstarred the review back to its original 4 stars, with an added praise to their timely service response.

cool gadget
this a cool little gadget, It works as intended, I wasn't sure what to put on the flavor rating, because I don't think this alters the flavor to any of the foods that are being sanitized with it. The devise is small enough to fit on almost any size bowl depending in what you are using it for. It only takes 10 minutes to do it's job and I can see a little difference on the produce I have used the devise with. I actually enjoy looking at it when its doing it's thing on the water, looks kinda cool. Over all it does it's job and it doesn't take that long to use.

Really interesting to use
I had seen these kinds of fruit/vegetable cleaners on TikTok where you drop the machine into a tub of water filled with whatever you wanted to wash and it would start spewing bubbles. I'm still not totally sure about the science behind this kind of electrolytic technology but from what I understand, the machine takes the water in the tub (H2O) and separates them into OH- and H+ ions, the latter which combines with Cl- to form hypochlorous acid (HCl) to remove pesticide residues.I used these on a container of strawberries and did find it a little tricky to use the machine, mainly because the instructions booklet was quite vague and the machine kept turning off when I put it in the container of water. I think the key is to make sure the screen is dark before you submerge it in water so the machine will turn on when actually in the container. My strawberries did look noticeably brighter than my usual method of cleaning, which is with the produce wash from Trader Joe. Overall, I think this cleaner is worth a try and would recommend it to someone who is fastidious about cleaning their produce.

So far so good
I've always wanted one of these fruit cleaners so when I came across it. I immediately had to get it and try it out. Ever since I saw the strawberry video with the bugs in them I've been too paranoid to eat any berries so after receiving my package I went and bought some berries to try it put them in the water and put the purifier in a bowl and left in there for thirty minutes. I was immediately impressed buy how well of a job it did cleaning them. From now on I'm going to use this for cleaning all my fruits and vegetables highly recommend!

I guess it worked well
I used it, followed the directions. It seemed to have loosened the guck or wax or whatever from the veggies, then I was able to easily rinse it off at the end and the veggies felt clean.

Solid, well-made item but no data on efficacy
I was pleasantly surprised upon opening this little gadget at how heavy and well-built it is. It has a nice, quality feel. As another reviewer already mentioned, I also do not have a means of testing the efficacy of this device with respect to surface contaminants on produce. I, too, decided that it won't do any harm to use it on my fruits and vegetables but it might actually be effective at preventing ingestion of pathogenic microbes. I'm a healthcare provider with a solid background in the sciences and the technology implemented here involving generation of a hydroxyl radical to kill bacteria and break down toxic residues makes sense. I'll continue using it.

Good design
The media could not be loaded. It’s interesting to see this gadget. I try to research about how it works but can’t really find anything to backup this technology and explain how it works. However, I would say it works as it is I will try to find more prove and update my review later.

Ok
First of all this Fruit and Vegetable Washing Machine is challenging to charge. It comes with a USB cord but it was not charging with any of the outlets that I plugged it into. I finally found one that works and it took hours to charge. I have used it twice and I see bubbles coming out but it's hard to tell if it's actually disinfecting anything.
