I bike and walk everyday. As I get older and wiser I needed to make sure I was properly zone training so that I don’t get injured. This HR monitor is simple and is accurate, I compared it to my Apple Watch and to a chest monitor and it is the same. Bluetooth works with my Apple Watch so I don’t need to pair to my phone, but you can pair it to your phone. I also pair this to my computer for Zwift and works amazing. I have had it for a month and it’s still holding its charge. I like the way it looks and it’s easier to put on with all my gear on, I don’t have to remove clothes to put on the monitor unlike my chest monitor which used watch batteries. The rechargeable battery is a huge advantage so that I don’t have to swap batteries ever.

I had looked at different options for a heart rate monitor. I have a smartwatch (Amazfit bip5) and it works pretty good but this thing allows me to have a real time heart rate and connects to the machines (I go to a planet fitness) which helps me hit my goals well. It is really comfortable my only complaint is that it didn't come with a bigger band to fit on my biceps but works perfect on my forearm with no slipping or issues reading. I have not used a chest strap but I imagine it is a lot more convenient and comfortable than one of those

This is a great armband and it its accurate as can be given it's on the arm. A chest strap is still probably the most accurate, but this is close. The light is visible while riding but usually I forget it's there, which is the point. Either way, it's a better and faster indicator of what zone I'm in than trying to read a heart rate number on my watch. It also synced seamlessly to my Coospo bike computer. My only complaint is that while it was shipped with two arm bands, they are both the same size (medium). I didn't see anywhere while purchasing that I could go up a size. It fits, though left me wondering what I would do if my arms were larger.

Worked great for about a month, then all of a sudden stopped working. It now gives a heart rate that is obviously much much lower than reality (ie, it’s detecting a heart rate in the 50s when I’m probably between 140-150bpm). Completely useless, do not recommend if you need something that works for longer than 5 weeks. Update: Abysmal customer service. Like another reviewer experienced, the company sent an automated message offering me a full refund, and then when I responded to that offer, I stopped hearing from them. Buyer beware- this company appears to make products that work 7 out of 10 times, and the 3 who end up with lemons are stuck with no support. Take the chance if you want, but don't expect support if you're an unlucky buyer of a garbage unit.

I really liked using the HW9 for cycling for just over a year. . It was decent value and was accurate. The plastic housing holds the strap in place and busted when I wore it a little too tight over my bicep. Seller said there was no way to fix it and buy a new one. Wish it was a little more durable, or was able to have replacement parts.

I used the Coospo HW807 for a long time as my workhorse heart rate monitor (HRM). It consistently beat chest straps, especially in cold weather. However, its non-stretching velcro strap always worried me; I feared it would un-velcro and fall off without me noticing. To avoid this, I rarely unfastened the velcro and instead just wiggled the strap up to my upper forearm or bicep. I eventually lost that HRM (though not because of a velcro failure). When I saw this updated version featured an elastic strap, I knew I had to buy it. Operationally, it is very similar to the HW807 and turns on with a single button press. This new model adds a helpful feature: you can tap the power button to check your Bluetooth connection status. It also changes LED colors based on your current heart rate zone, which you can customize in the Hearttool or Coospo apps. Personally, I preferred the HW807’s color range (blue → green → yellow → pink → red) over this new model's range (light blue → blue → green → orange → red). On the plus side, this model broadcasts to two Bluetooth receivers simultaneously. If your bike computer doesn't support ANT+, you can easily send the signal to both your phone app and your bike computer at the same time. It seems a bit more fussy when switching connections between different apps—like Hearttool (for HRV), Coospo (for battery level, though Hearttool handles this too), Elite HRV, and myWorkouts. This is because only one app can hold the Bluetooth LE connection at a time. That said, its Bluetooth 5 protocol seems to reconnect much better after a drop than the HW807’s older Bluetooth 4. In terms of accuracy, it responds about half a second faster than the HW807. However, it is about half a second slower than my Fitbit Sense 2, and lags by a second or two during sudden heart rate spikes. This delay might be due to a more aggressive data-smoothing algorithm. While I noticed other reviews mentioning broken plastic brackets, I haven't run into any durability issues yet. As a precaution, I avoid wearing the band stretched to its absolute maximum. This model is not quite as cheap as the HW807 was when I first bought it, but that older price was pre-tariff, and this is a higher-end model. Overall, it still offers fantastic value compared to the big name brands.

I'd been using the Polar H10 chest HRM since August 2022. It worked fine for the most part, other than a few instances of the battery compartment being wonky and giving inconsistent readings until I fiddled with the flexible contact inside. Well, it finally annoyed me for good recently when it started to freeze on a BPM for several seconds before dropping/rising immediately. It would do this every few seconds and my BPM readings were always wildly off. I tried everything I could think of to remedy this and figured, after reading tons of similar stories online, it was best to just move on finally and buy something new. I grabbed the COOSPO HW9 Optical HRM and have been using this with zero issues so far. Since it uses optical sensors (like a smart watch), there's no need to wet it first or apply electrode gel. You simply place it around your forearm or your upper arm (bicep). It has its own app but I prefer using the Polar Beat app so I can see the nice colorized graph in real time. That's what's cool about the COOSPO HW9, it connects to pretty much any HRM app (including PULSOID if you want to show your HR while streaming online). All I had to do was turn it on, go into Polar Beat, remove the Polar H10 from my paired devices list, and the COOSPO HW9 immediately showed up and I was able to pair it right away. In order to test the accuracy of it, I have used it in conjunction with the continuous HRM feature of my Galaxy Watch 4 as well as testing it by comparing my heart rate with my Galaxy S10+'s HR measuring feature and the COOSPO has been spot-on for me. A cool feature this thing has is that it has an indicator light on it that changes color based on which BPM range you're currently in. It's especially helpful once your heart reaches 180bpm because the light turns red and the armband vibrates a couple times. That's been helpful when I play because it reminds me to focus on breathing and calming down during whatever song I'm playing that has my heart rate getting so high. If you use the Heartool app, you can change the HR alert value to something other than 180bpm. Anyway, just wanted to give this thing a shoutout for anyone looking for their first HRM, a replacement, or an alternative to a chest HRM. This one is pretty comfy to wear, far better than the Polar H10 to me (which would bunch up on my sides and back). I also like that it has an internal battery that you charge with a magnetic charger (it's recommended to charge it by connecting it to a laptop/computer or DC 5V power adapter).

Great value for an excellent heart rate monitor. Does what it needs to do, highly accurate, pretty straight forward with no extra bells & whistles. Easy to connect with my Polar Flow App & Polar watch, with relatively long battery life.

Received the product but was late

Despues de un mes de uso el equipo dejo de funcionar, al principio todo trabajba perfecto sin embargo despues de mi primer salida en ruta larga (6 horas), el equipo se apago, en un principio pense que se trataba de un caso de descarga de la bateria. Llegue a casa y cargué el equipo sin embargo al encenderlo de nuevo el equipo ya no funciono, el dispositivo enciende pero ya no hace la medicion de FC. Por ahora me encuentro tratando de aplicar la garantia del mismo
