I homeschool my two children, I bought this to try to create a structure and give the children each a job. I would say a classroom teacher would find this more useful than most homeschoolers. Not that we can't use it, but for the most part we homeschool by adventure and do more hands on learning vs desk work. Because these come with premade job labels, it made it difficult to incorporate into our homeschool routine. Teachers could find this product great because you wouldn't need to spend time labeling jobs like line leader or light monitor etc., you can also write on it using a dry erase (or sharpie).

So I've totally manipulated this chart to serve my own classroom needs.But I like the idea of this being a job chart. You can cover the included cards with photos of your own. It can be used to track jobs, center assignments, birthdays, sight words, etc. That's what's so great about this chart, it provides many opportunities for use.

This classroom job chart is made well. The job and name cards are not as high quality as the chart itself. They are flimsy cardboard. If you are going to use the name cards that come with it you could laminate them to make them more sturdy. They are easy to tear out but be mindful that they can rip if you aren't being gentle. I love the cute designs. I would have liked more blank cards. The hooks are strong and adhesive well to the surface.

It fit perfectly in the space between my cabinet and the board. It was easy to erase the names on there, and they look so cute! I used 10 of the jobs and the slots on the chart let me put all 20 of my students’ names, so each job has 2 students. It’s great!

I ordered this for my niece who is a teacher. Unfortunately, teachers have to buy a lot of their own classroom materials in certain schools. This is a practical thing she can easily implement in her classroom. It’s a great value for the cost in my opinion.

This chart looks really cute in my classroom and the kids love their jobs. They get excited when I change them and the new jobs are revealed! The chart itself is high quality and the pictures on the cards are really cute!

While the pocket chart itself was amazing and great quality, the jobs lacked some key ones. We used all the blank cards and are not using the name cards. They were too small and not the best fit. Decided to use cloths line clips instead. The job cards we did use might have to be changed because the names of the jobs are too small.
