NCAA Team U Toast Elite Toaster

As an East Carolina University Pirate fan, I always like to find different items that are companions with Pirates. I found this toaster that actually toasts a Pirate into the bread for morning toast and afternoon sandwiches. It has been a really great hit and was the most talked about item after the holidays. It has been used regularly ever since. Aarrgg!

My dad has every WVU item you could think of; hats, socks, lamps, blankets, flags, bags, literally everything. So you can understand my excitement when I found this toaster to add to the collection. Its more of a fun gift than an actual toaster because it basically burns the WV symbol while the rest of the bread remains untoasted. He still finds it amusing and we purchased one for my uncle, another WVU alumni.

The toaster feels very cheap. The entire thing feels like plastic. Everyone loves the look of the Longhorn burned into the side but every time we use it the house smells like burning bread, and I can't bring myself to eating the burned part. You have to burn the symbol to get the rest toasted. The rest of the family still loves it. So 4/5

Very cheap product. Doesn't toast the bread evenly. Doesn't hold anything thicker or wider than "Wonderbread" (i.e. no bagels, no english muffins, no Pepperidge Farm specialty breads). With all that said, it's still a fun product.... I love having the big AU on my toast.... It's fun!

Great toaster, it was a gift and he was excited about it and toasted bread right away on christmas. he loved it but the only draw back is that it does not consistantly toast the logo, but that is expected from any toaster. but again a fan would love it.

Gave this to my daughter in law who is from WVA and has transplanted to SC. She was thrilled. Everything in her house is SC Gamecocks. She was very pleased to have something with her Alma Mater on it. Would recommend for any West VA fan.

Love the toaster...but of course, my picky son is mad that it burns the Longhorn in middle of the toast...he doesn't like Burnt Toast. But I love any toast so I love it :)

Bought for my dad, a huge Husker Fan, more as a novelty than with the expectation that he would actually use it for his morning toast. I was wrong. Mom tells me he uses it nearly every day. :)
