I just recently started doing my own nails over the last couple months, and Beetles just happened to be the brand I started with. I bought the starter kit that had a lamp, about 50 colors, top/base/matte coat etc and a few other things and ended up loving it. So i have pretty much stuck with their brand ever since. With it being the fall months, I wanted more fall colors. The original kit I bought has some colors that I would consider fall colors, but not like this. This set has 20 colors, all perfect fall shades (think all the colors of leaves changing). All beautiful. It also came with a base coat, top coat, and matte top coat. Three or four of the twenty colors are glitter colors (a yellow-ish gold, an orange, red, and i believe a deep brown). I swatched them all as soon as they came and they are beautiful. I also ordered fall leaf nail stickers and cannot wait to use the two together. The polish goes on easily. Most only need two coats. Others require three to get full coverage. The bottles aren't very big, but considering the price and how many colors you get, its still worth it. Once cured, the polish stays on for a very long time without chipping or fading. I love being able to do my nails at home. It's sooo much cheaper than getting them done professionally, and with a little practice and proper nail prep, they last for multiple weeks, or until you decide to remove them. Edit: used 5 of the colors for a fall/maple leaf set and they are really pretty. I made them matte, and the finish feels really smoothe. Love the set. Im slowly buying more and more lol

I love the quality of Beetles gel polish! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the size of the bottles. I know you only get so much when you pay lower prices but I would rather pay a higher price and get regular size bottles than only have enough for a couple of sets. I tend to use these for nail art or small things if there is only one nail that needs painted a certain color or if I need to use them to mix colors to get a certain shade that I do not already have. I think the Beetles collections are good collections for a beginner who is just getting started and familiar with nails. They provide a variety of different colors and they are top notch quality when it comes to pigment. The top coats and base coat are also amazing and I ended up purchasing them separately again outside of the collection. I have heard a lot of people speak recently on Beetles and they have not had positive things to say about them due to contact dermatitis but you have to keep in mind that some of these collections are offered with a very small curing lamp. That lamp is technically a FLASH curing lamp, you still need to put your nails into a full lamp to fully cure them to avoid any skin allergies such as contact dermatitis. The lamps that are offered with the collections will NEVER fully cure your polish! But all in all I would recommend this polish 10 outta 10 times to any beginner or professional. I just really wish the collections came with the full size bottles of polish instead of the tiny ones.

Long lasting and lots of color options. Colors are extremely bright even the pastels.

My teen has recently started getting into doing her own nails. The beetles polish was very reasonably priced for a large variety of colors. The colors go on well and work fine with an off brand LED light. With the lamp the colors dry completely without leaving any stickiness behind. The color lasts and goes on easily leaving an opaque, smooth finish. The colors. They do have a chemically smell, but that’s expected with gel polish. I would purchase again and recommend this set.

This is the first time I’ve ever done a gel manicure on myself and I feel like this nail polish is sooo beginner friendly. The nail polish was not too thick where it was difficult to apply. It really was a very easy application, especially since I don't have super steady hands. It included a nail file, nail buffer, nail clippers, a base coat, top coat, a glitter overcoat and a matte overcoat. I did buy supplies separately from this brand to feel confident in my manicure: •UV lamp (got one on sale for $9.99 on amazon) •Acetone •Nail dehydrator •Acid free primer (I heard this helps it to not peel or chip easily/as fast) •Nail art brushes (helps clean up lines when using acetone too!) No strong odor. Really cute colors to try out, as you can see I wasn’t super bold but my nude coat was the color ib071 which gave a very natural nude for my french tip style. I did only do one coat to achieve this look. I was surprised how small the polish bottles were but I figured it’s still not bad since I got this on sale and shipped to me the same day of purchasing. Pictured is the size difference between polish and base coat bottles. I did find when I first did both my base coat and top coat they were kinda sticky but I just put my hand back in and timed it for another 60 seconds. I am writing this review right after finishing so I’ll update how long it actually lasts later on. I’m excited to keep practicing and trying out the other colors!

I’m really happy with this Beetles gel nail polish set. The colors are honestly so pretty in person, very springy, bright, and wearable, with a good mix of soft shades and bolder colors. I’ve already used several of them and they apply smoothly with good pigment after two thin coats. I mainly use builder gel and Gel-X, and these polishes work great with both. They cure well, don’t wrinkle, and seal nicely under top coat. I haven’t had any issues with chipping as long as I prep properly and cure fully. For the price, you get a lot of colors, which makes this a great bang for your buck. It’s perfect if you like switching up your nails often or doing different designs without having to buy individual bottles. Definitely recommend if you’re doing your nails at home and want a versatile, affordable gel set. I included a picture as well but Im a beginner so ignore my thick lines!

I’ve been doing my own gel nails for a while with a different brand & decided to try beetles. The bottles are 5ml but the colours are really nice & the base & top coats are 7.5ml. I didn’t read the info properly so didn’t know that the bottles were so small but I think it’s excellent value and quality for the price. Will definitely stick with beetles from now on, the formula is slightly thicker than the other polish I’ve used & pretty easy to work with. The top coat seems extra shiny. Don’t mind my butchered cuticles, I accidentally buffed them lol. Used c019 for fingers on top of a rubber base & c001 for toes.

Buena variedad de colores, buen tamaño; no son El tamaño grande pero tampoco son tan pequeños si Los quieres para uso personal estan ideales. La calidad del acabado que bastante bien tanto El terminado mate como El brillante. Y la cobertura de color tamboen es bastante Buena, algunos colores requieren 2 pasadas para cubrir por completo. En general Buena calidad por El precio.
