Fit and finish isn't perfect, but they are 100% functional!
PROS: - Color coded for easy identification - Easily adjustable - Requires no tools to install or use - Brass construction resists corrosion over time - Includes "anti-corrosion" pads CONS: - Tensioning lever does not have a positive lock (friction only) - Cable lug "stud" is screwed in from the bottom and can come loose DETAILS: My factory battery connections were flimsy and corroded so I wanted to replace them with something more substantial and corrosion resistant. I also wanted a stud to connect all of the cables to as I have a car audio system with multiple power connections. The benefit of having the levered design was for ease of installation and removal as it's a project car and I work on it often. Installation of the terminals is easy. I had to take the positive (red) terminal apart to swap the tensioning lever to the outside of the battery (that way it can't potentially short out on the metal battery hold-down strap going over the top of the battery). Attaching the tables to the "stud" is easy and the wing nuts make for a tool-less installation. I, however, found that I had too many ring terminals to stack up on the positive side and there was not enough thread sticking through to tighten things together. I unscrewed the machine screw from the bottom of the terminal and instead threaded that in through the top through all of my cables. There was plenty of thread going that route, but meant I had to use my impact driver to get things tight enough. Wasn't really a problem for me as I trust that will provide a better connection and not come loose over time compared to tightening a wing nut by hand. As for the fit and finish, they are no where near as nice as the product images show. Everything is not as shiny and the brass has a much rougher finish. None of that takes away from the functionality though. My concerns are two things. First, the tensioning lever does not have any sort of positive lock and relies solely on friction to stay in place. When tensioning the terminal up on the battery posts, the lever doesn't have a lot of friction moving from fully open to fully closed. In my opinion, this can lead to over-tensioning and bending where the tensioner contacts the brass. Do that too many times and you risk cracking the brass and having a broken terminal. While I have not had the tensioning lever move on its own after driving around, I don't have a lot of confidence that it will stay in place over time without subsequent adjustments. Only time will tell. Second, the "stud" where the wing nut attaches to the terminal is just a machine screw threaded in from the bottom of the terminal. In my case, one of them was loose out of the box. A loose screw could lead to issues getting the right amount of torque on the wing nut to keep the battery cables firmly in place. It also means that if it does come loose, it can vibrate and back out of the terminal requiring the removal of the terminal to thread it back in. Overall, this was not an issue for me as I threaded in the screw from the top-side and did not use the wing nut, but I can see this as a potential issue for those using these terminals as they come out of the box. Overall, I think these terminals are a great value for the money and offer a good level of adjustability and versatility while being visually appealing. My only recommendation would be to use some sort of thread locker on the machine screw prior to installation to keep it from ever backing out on its own.

Same sized posts.
These connectors do work well. They are designed for used only one way though. There is a taper to battery posts and the connectors are tapered internally. The quick connect feature is nice and works as it should. Why am I not giving five stars? Because on most vehicles the negative and positive connections from the vehicle are different sizes. These battery post connectors are both 5/16". This is too big for almost all of my newer vehicles that have a 5/16" negative and a 1/4" positive hole for connection.
