Just Say No
I was looking for flexible high current carrying cables. These are flexible, I'll give them that. As for current carrying capacity, not so much. I measured the resistance of these cables at about 1 milliohm per foot. This is the same as 10 AWG wire. These are NOWHERE NEAR the 1-Gauge wire advertised. (1-Gauge wire would be about 0.1 milliohm per foot). Also, I wasn't sure if this was the cable or the connector, so I measured it both ways. First I measured the cable with the connector and again without (yes I cut the wires just to measure them once I found out how lousy they are). The connector is not awful, but it is not what you'd want for 1-Gauge wire. The cable alone is at 1 milliohm per foot. So... Just Say No !

Not as advertised.
Not 1 gauge wiring as noted by others. Mostly insulation. Returned.

Low Current Transfer ....
Bought these supposedly heavy guage, high current transferring jumper cables for my semi.True 1-guage, solid copper (not aluminum clad) jumper cables perform so much better than these imposters.Very disappointed in the inability to transfer for heavy duty applications and the weakness of the jaws.If you want to spend this kind of money to jump start your car … they will probably be okay.

The wire is actually .25 inch diameter, 2 Gauge, 2 AWG and has very thick insulation.
The wire is actually .25 inch diameter, 2 Gauge, 2 AWG and has very thick insulation. I am using this as wire in a dual battery setup. I cut the clamps off and used 2 Gauge wire lugs to cap the ends (1 Gauge lugs were too large). The wire will work for my purpose and overall product feels very durable.

Super Extra Heavy Duty 1-Gage
I bought the Xincol Extra Heavy Duty Booster Cables to have a good heavy duty set of booster cables for jumping cars with dead batteries. We have three cars and there is always one from time to time that needs a jump. These cables are amazing with 1-Gage copper wire size compared to others that have aluminum wiring or are much-much smaller gage copper wiring and they are a full 20 feet long. The 1-Gage copper wire size and the 20 foot length does make them very heavy compared to my other cheap light cables, but its well worth it to get some real extra heavy duty cables. They come with a nice nylon carrying case and there is even include a set of cloth gloves to keep your hands from getting dirty when you are jump starting a car. The battery clamps with these cables have good strong springs and nice teeth for making good contact with battery posts. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet but these are so heady duty that I am sure that they will work better than any cables that I have ever had.

Absolute five star! I've been looking for a set of cables like this for YEARS!
These cables are incredible! The weight, somewhere over 10lbs, the quality of the jacketing and the termination of the copper into the clamps are all quite impressive. I would venture to say that the only way they could improve these cables is running the conductor to the teeth, but even then, these cables and the ruggedness of the clips makes that mostly unnecessary. These cables are going to last me for a VERY long time and are TOTALLY worth the $100 investment. As a retired first responder and roadside service technician, having good jumper cables is an essential aspect when responding to my incidents. The one situation I can think of when I needed these is when I jump-started a semi who was sitting on the side of the road partially blocking traffic. Due to the jumper cable sizes, it took two vehicles to generate enough current to turn the engine over fast enough to start it. I know this example is unusual (unless you own a semi) but the statement stands that these are genuinely high duty cables and completely worth the price. I would expect them to be able to start just about anything I connect them to within just a few minutes if not almost instantaneously. Do yourself a favor, buy these jumper cables, save yourself the time, sometimes in unsafe conditions, waiting on the side of the road for the battery to charge to be able to start the stranded car and be on your way.

Molded cables would be much better and the clamps can be replaced later on if ...
Most jumper cables are molded together, these are not so I had to zip-tie them together. The clamps are very cheap but the wire is heavy duty copper which is why I kept them. These are only for emergency use so they do not get used much at all. Molded cables would be much better and the clamps can be replaced later on if needed. If you need reliable heavy duty cables, find another source and pay extra, copper is expensive these days.

Great cables
These are great cables and the gloves/back are a nice (but cheap) extra. The cables are a bit pricey compared to others that I've purchased, but they're definitely better. The cables are individual, so no need to worry about dropping and accidentally shorting, plus it's a lot easier for one person to setup (you can always just separate other cables, but I like that these come separated). Cables are copper, and thick and the claps don't hurt your hand to open. I purchased the 3 meter cable for about $60, I don't see having to replace these for a long time.

The spec is not accurate!
The seller says it is gauge 1 and cable has section area of 42 mm2.I bought the cable and I did my own measurement. The copper conductor's section area is about 20 mm2 instead. So, this should be a AWG 4 cable.(google AWG size, then you will find the info).I do not believe this is honest mistake.Shame to the people who deliberately misrepresent this item.

High high quality
These puppies (Heavy Duty Gauge Jumper Cables) are suitable for higher voltage, say for a truck or SUV. I'm sure they could be used in heavier applications. The clamps are comfortable and bite well, making for good contact between electronics, I would not want to get my finger pinched in the clamp for sure. The cable is well insulated and easy to maneuver. Mist also say that these jumper cables are much heavier in weight than the usual smaller cables that I am used to working with, but that is ok, they are easy to store and come with a bag that is not too small to store the cables in, in other words, the bag is the perfect size for these.

SIMPLY EXCELLENT
Super cables for cold Canadian winters and stay extremely flexible when it was cold. Expensive but well worth it.
