The examples and blurblettes are so inspiring, it really got me started doing car design! It's not so much informative as it is inspiring, but if you study each example, and use the designer's notes as inspiration to keep you going, you can begin to abstract the basics of car design. Passion helps - there is virtually no "instruction," as I recall.

Should have been: How to Become a Car Designer”. This book is more of a career guide than a how-to.

I liked the easy to follow format

Has no lessons at all, they are interviews with designers with their opinions on contemporary, or rather 90's and early 2000's cars.

This book is incredible...it has tons of pictures, helpful tips about sketching, many interviews with top designers, and has ideas to think about when designing.The title doesn't lie; this book really is the key to design cars like a pro!
