I read the only 5 reviews at the time of this writing with caution since they all had received a free product to review. I am quite happy to report that the glowing descriptions were correct, these are well made, tailoring is great and comfortably lightweight. At this price they are a find! My requirements for a hiking sports short that didn't require a belt but had a tied waist is sometimes very hard to find with all zipped 5 pockets. I don't like cargo pockets that are flapped or gusseted since it looks like floppy bags hanging off your thighs when filled. These are all hidden pockets and keep the silhouette slim with smooth working zippers with excellent long pull tabs. One reviewer said her husband was a 38" waist and an XL was perfect.I took one star off because I am also a 37-38" waist but found the waistband a bit too snug. I'm sure after several washings the elastic band would get tighter so I returned and have ordered XXL. I'm hoping it won't be too big or baggy and will update when received.UPDATE: I received the XXL and it was the right decision for me. I'm 73" tall, 192 lbs, 23% body fat. Although the XL did fit my waist the XXL waist is more comfortable. I didn't see any difference in length or roominess overall other than the waist, so I ordered 2 more. It is very lightweight, the darker colors will not appear to be as sheer in bright sunlight as the lighter colors. Very happy with my purchase and returned it to 5 star review.

Good comfortable shorts, i like that the pockets are stitched in and my phone doesn't swing around all over the place when walking my dogs or something, also zippers feel sturdy and well made excellent for hiking,work,whatever

I love these shorts even though they are men’s. They wash and dry well, look best, and the material is soft with side zipper pockets and a back zipper pocket.

I probably have a dozen of these shorts, in different colors, that I use all summer long. They're good looking and I haven't had any problems with the zippers or material, and it's nice having five zippered pockets.My one minor gripe is on the last two pairs I bought (blue and purple), the cord stoppers at the end of the drawstring started coming off in the dryer. I never had this issue with my older pairs, so it's either a problem with those two colors or a recent production issue. Not a big deal, there's still an aglet that keeps the drawstring together.

The size is accurate, quality material and most of all comfortable.

I bought a couple of pairs. Very light and comfortable!!! Double stitching, so quality is good!! I had no issues with putting my wallet and car keys in front pocket. The items didn't feel loose in the pocket.

These shorts are not true to size and that’s unfortunate. I really like the look as well as all of the pockets. The material is akin to a windbreaker type of fabric. It’s lightweight enough and would certainly be cool on hot summer days. I wish the sizing was accurate so I could actually speak on the comfort but they just don’t fit.

Like the draw string on the outside of shorts. Especially like the extra pockets and the tassel attached to the pocket zipper.
