It was very comfortable to lay against and can also be a very long pillow for a king bed. It arrived compressed in a plastic reusable bag. When it came, we sunned it in the backyard for an afternoon and it took on a nice toasty scent--none of that out of the packaging smell. It was a bit of a struggle getting the pillow cover on a decompressed pillow but nothing too challenging for two people working together. There was a bit of the polyester filling outside of the pillow that we lint rollered off (it really wasn't much at all) and then it did not leak more, so it was probably just from the manufacturing process.The cover is very soft and crucial to keeping the pillow clean over time and it was much appreciated (albeit we thought it was a little ugly). There are also no lumps or gaps in filling for the pillow.Overall, I think it's a great body pillow that will help with your back problems a lot, but you are paying a hefty price for it. If you are someone blessed with sewing skills, an hour with the machine will get you the same pillow for a tiny fraction of the price.

I got it for my wife and she loves it. It is big however, so if she isn't using it that night it has to come off the bed, a Queen size bed that already comes with 3 dogs.

I'm a side sleeper, with multiple herniated disks, and I wanted this pillow to keep one leg raised, so I wasn't pulling/twisting my lower back. And it's been working great for the few weeks I've had it. I continue to use it every night.The firmness is just right. It's firm, but not rock hard like super dense memory foam. It has some give to it. The outer covering is thick material and should hold up (I did, however, get a funky, cool pillow case to put over it because the beige color wasn't working for me). It's long enough (I'm 6'2") that it doesn't get misplaced in the middle of the night like the little knee pillows do.It is expensive. Can't deny that. But, for me, it serves a very good, beneficial purpose.5 stars. If you can deal with the price, it's a great body pillow.

I have had this for a while and still haven't put a cover on it yet. It's an excellent pillow. I've had body pillows before over the years most of which just haven't stood up well to handling but this one is a really nice quality one. It's heavy with that good soft but firm feel to it. Always feels cool to the touch too. We've had to clean it once and I was worried how that was going to turn out but even after a good wash (due to a spill) it's perfect.Whenever I find the cover I want to put on it I will be absolutely pleased. I've been looking for a pillow like this for some time now. Cannot give it enough stars, this thing is a dream come true.

Ever since I started using this body pillow, I am sleeping so good at night. Touching this pillow is what I would imagine touching a cloud would feel like if that were possible. It is extremely soft in the firmest way possible. If the pillow is too firm for you, you can remove some of the filling inside. The pillow is huge and amazing to cuddle with at night. The pillow is also quite cooling which is great for hot sleepers. I was having trouble justifying the price of this pillow at first, but now that I own it I think it is totally worth it. Best pillow EVER!

Even though this pillow is lightweight, it is so comfortable. The down makes for a very soft pillow. I love that you can adjust the filling to your liking. It has a zipper and you can remove or add filling. Comes with a case. This is an easy five stars from me, and I definitely recommend.
