Just what it is, and perfect
What else can you say about a collet chuck except that it's just as describes and works perfectly.

Perfect fit.
This is a Bosch collet for a Bosch router. Fits perfectly, of course... and for me, Bosch tools have been the gold standard for quality and value for the past couple decades. I hope that never changes. I used to get most of my power tools from another company that still makes quality tools, but they are now more interested in marketing and bigger margins, IMO.

It fits.It works. It's a 3/8 inch Collet. It's what I wanted and that's all I got to say about this except to say you don't find these everyday. Thanks Amazon.

Good purchase
Great addition for my Bosch 1617 router. I have a couple of 3/8" router bits and I am glad Bosch is offering this size collet for their routers. Many other router brands don't.

Use this to hook up my Bosch router to my 3/8 end mil. Use the Fast and Friendly Brass adapter to quickly trim .223 and .308 cases. The Bosch router makes it quick and easy work.

Exactly what you need if you want to use 3/8 shank router bits
This is the collet for my 1617 EVSPK router which allows me to use commercial solid carbide 3/8 up cut machining bits.

Purchased a set of 3 spiral bits for my Bosch router, and didn’t realize the middle but (3/8”) required a collet of the same size. This item solved the problem, and worked perfectly.
