Found an almost identical item at Dillards for 5x the price. The bag has held up through 2 formal occasions so far, one in the rain, and one with the teething toddler after it, and it still looks great! If I was never able to use it again, it was well worth the money.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. While I can't comment on the longevity, I can provide thoughts on the construction and the overall feel of this purse.First, it's a definitely 5-star for looks -- the bag is beautiful! It has a detachable chain "strap" -- not sure how comfortable that will be when wearing, but then again, it's not meant for everyday wear.The bag is a little stiff, but it opens and closes easily enough -- without being too easy. In other words, it's not going to fly open on you and spill all the contents. There is plenty of room for a phone, keys and some odds and ends -- but not a whole lot more.The reason for the 4 stars is mainly due to the fact that the lace is so delicate -- it looks like it could snag pretty easily. Now, you don't buy something like this expecting the lace to stand up to a lot of wear, but you will have to be careful in you will be wearing this in an environment which might have snag opportunities (so to speak).Overall this is an absolutely gorgeous purse, and I hope my fiend likes it, too!

The lace on the purse is nice and went perfectly with my lace dress. It is elegant and has just enough room for a phone, id, and makeup. I had to force my keys in. I took off 1 star because of the chain, its ugly and cheap looking, it does not match the elegant-ness of the purse so I just took it off.

Although this purse feels fairly stiff to open and close, you can’t beat the value for the price of it. It looks nice with my lace dress. I bought a nicer, more sturdy gold chain to use with it after reading the reviews about the chain breaking that comes with the purse.
