10 stars!!! We think this is the best door stop ever invented. We tried the rubber type and the kickstand type and neither worked properly. But this one went on so quick and so easy and it does the job perfectly holding a very heavy garage door. Once it is on, it's on, but it does have adjustability, meaning you could install it at the top of the door if you prefer to instead of the bottom of the door. This door stop is durable and strong and is absolutely worth every penny. And it actually came with two fir that price, so that's a great deal. My husband used the stickers that it came with to install.Which is why it went on so fast. The adhesion is really strong and feels very secure, and we have not needed to switch over to screwing it on yet. ( It also came with screws) My husband left the old wall door stopper on the wall. Just in case the sticky adhesive ever comes off so that we have a backup and it doesn't slam into the wall. But we haven't had that happen yet. It's going strong. My husband figured, if the adhesive ever came off, then we would just screw it on because it works really well with the magnet and we like the ease of opening the door and closing the door with the magnet door stop. Great item.

These door stoppers work as advertised. They are sturdy and seem like they will stand up to many years of use. The magnets are strong enough to hold a door and will easily open with a firm tug. Installation requires a little advance planning to make sure both parts align both horizontally and vertically. I used a pencil to mark the circles to ensure I got it right on one and then thought “I got this” on another and the pieces don’t align perfectly but it still works. My installation has the small part on the door and the long part on the floor. As others noted, the provided screws are junk. The heads shear off easily. Don’t mess with the provided screws, find some good ones and save yourself the frustration. One other negatives are the round bases are big and shiny silver. They show up against white woodwork. I guess they could be painted which could look worse. Also, the small receiver part screws on to the base. Be sure everything is aligned before starting to turn or it will get cross threaded, requiring a very strong person to fix it. Overall these are a fairly good value but could use some engineering improvements.

This is such an amazing idea! I love this stopper so much, i have gotten others to purchase as well! It has a strong magnet that holds the door. I only used the adhesive, but I like that there is an option for hardware. I find the adhesive to be strong and durable! Super easy to install and will fit about any door. Definitely worth the purchase!

This is a great product, and the magnets are strong. It was very easy to install and holds very well. I have not had any issues, and I have had them for over 2 years now. I have them coming in to my external doors, which are heavier, and have never had an issue with them coming apart or being damaged. Got this after putting 2 from Lowe's in for ~$8 each (the Lowe's price). These were similar pricing, and appearance, and delivered to my door. The magnet is decent, but weaker than the Lowe's one. (Sort of a benefit, as I have to rip the Lowe's ones off.) I used the screws and anchors included. They used countersink screws when they should have included pan head, and the "anchors" really need more like a 6.5mm (I'm in the US, and I don't own a machinest fit set, but I know 1/4" is 6.35mm) or you really have to bash them in. Wall side, easy. Door side, this is an internal door, so ~1/4" of material, and it acts like a spring when you hit it. Individual parts feel like good metals, but screwing the door "base" to the actual spring stopper bit, the threads feel horrible. Plus the door side has a 2" metal base plate, for a ~.9" thing. The "drop" looking end with the magnet is one thing to have a big metal disk, but the smaller end... Makes no sense to have the huge plate. Alignment was easy, as I could mount the one side, close the door then hold the other plate in plate, and pop the door off the magnet. Works to hold the door open from "people walking past", and a bit of foundation shift, so the robot vac no longer gets stuck in the bathroom. And I do like that I have a spare. But serious concerns about the anchors long term have me questioning the durability of the thing .

The device works as intended. I do not recommend relying on the adhesive tape; it will give way eventually, due to the strength of the magnets. . There were no instructions but I worked out that the each piece screwed apart, and screw homes were provided. If you have narrow skiting boards, you may experience an issue, as I did. Where the wall mount protrudes over the skirting when lining it up with the door component, making it difficult to attach. I circumvented this by cutting down the door component mount with tin snips, thereby lowering it, and enabling the wall component to be lowered commensurately. If you have a flat wall or wide skirtings, you won’t have an issue. The magnet is strong, and you won’t have any problems with the wind. If anything, the magnet is a little too strong, but I prefer that to ineffectiveness.
