Have been looking for a aloe Vera to add to a hair spritz that I make and this was recommended. Very good product, does as it states.wouls buy again.

I have head to feet eczema that I have been struggling for 7 years. NO OTHER ALOE WORKS LIKE THIS ONE! I have used other aloes and they sting like mad because of they have alcohol OR they are too watery and don't absorb well, even aloe from the plant doesn't work well. This is the combo I use: Lily of the Desert Aloe as my first layer and it really helps soothe and cool my skin and reduce the flaking. Then I add a layer of Shea Moisture - Raw Shea Butter Baby Healing Lotion. This aloe really helps the lotion absorb into my skin. *If I do not use a lotion after applying only aloe my skin will feel tight and begin to scale.* I use about a 12 oz. bottle of Lily of the Desert aloe and the Shea Moisture lotion every week. I apply 3+ times a day all over. If I use lotion only without aloe my skin is still flaky and the lotion can sting and itch more. If I am not applying consistently then it can still sting a bit... but not burn and sting like EVERY other product I have tried. If my eczema is super bad I will try organic canola oil first until I can't stand being oily anymore then I will blot the oil off and do a layer of aloe and then a layer of lotion. FYI: My eczema is caused by allergies to grasses, trees, and animals I don't have any food allergies. I found out what my allergies were by having blood and prick testing done in 2015. I previously had tried elimination diets and bleach baths that didn't work and $$$ in products. I have been to dermatologists, naturopaths and allergy clinics. Currently I am going to try allergy shots to relieve my symptoms. I also use MG217 Coal Tar and Sal-Acid Shampoo when my scalp gets itchy. In extreme situations I have used special hard to find steroidal creams that have worked but that I couldn't use long term or when I was pregnant.

I have dryer skin and work outside all day. This aloe gel is a blessing and I use it mostly on my hands. It doesn't have any other chemicals that other gels may have and if I don't use it for a week no side effects like lip balms have been known to do). After a shower, while still partially wet I apply it to my hands, face and neck and it drys invisible but keeps my skin from drying out. Also, as it drys it leaves an invisible and undetectable layer of aloe. It cannot be felt after it dries but I can re-activate the gel that dried on my hands with a few drops of water and tell it's still there. Now I usually only use it for keeping my skin from drying out but it is also excellent with small burns or cuts too. Not as good as neosporin for cuts but better than anything else for burns, especially sun burns. It will literally take the sting away on contact and sooth sunburnt skin. Depending on the level of sunburn, it may take a lot of gel, but your skin will thank you as I thank the manufacturer (and shipper/delivery people) for this often overlooked but amazing product. Also, I think this is the only brand that is actually 100% pure aloe and no additives. It's a small and general item that I have found many uses for and appreciate the ability to have so much of it in a tube. Where any other method would be me growing the aloe plants (which takes a long time) and harvesting it as I need it. This is one of my favorite things.

This is the only aloe I will buy. I've tried others and none feel like pure aloe. I use this on my skin after using hair removal creams and it quickly soothes any irritation.
