Keds Women's Center 2 Lace Up Sneakers

I bought these gray striped Keds for a 2 week trip to London. I have a couple pairs of water-resistant Keds that I love but are not great spring shoes. I got the size 9, which is what I wear in my other Keds. These size 9's were a bit larger than my other Keds. I thought, at first, that I would have to return them, but I tried them for a couple days at home and they seemed fine. The real test was my trip to London, and these shoes were THE BEST! I walked between 5-10 miles around the city everyday and these shoes were fabulous. It was actually good that they were slightly too big (my feet always swell after hours on my feet and then my shoes start to bother me), but these cute shoes never hurt my feet or gave me blisters. The thick padding on the heel was incredibly comfortable and never rubbed. I also wear an insert with all of my shoes and the insert fit perfectly in the shoes. Another thing I love about Keds is the shoelaces. Every other pair of lace shoes I own need to be double knotted to keep them from untying, but Keds shoelaces never come untied with a single. They are also the cutest shoes ever! I have gotten many compliments. And, the price is absolutely awesome. The only slight negative with these shoes is that they are canvas and very light (basically white) and I picked up a lot of dirt while tromping around the city, but that doesn't really bother me. I plan on buying more colors. Overall, these are my new favorite shoes!!!!!

I love Keds and was so happy to find these at a great cheaper price on Amazon. True to size and feel great. I can walk a mile in them before I feel any pain. Not a lot of support, but they look so cute and stylish! Great shoes for running errands and day to day work. I wear them while teaching.

Keds are the shoe I most associate with my mother. I don't even know that she wore Keds all that often, but I distinctly remember her narrow, lace up sneakers that she wore around the house when I was quite small. Now that I'm around the age she was then, I found myself in need of an around the house shoe. Something to wear when I have domestic chores I don't want my adhd brain to dismiss. My Keds anchor my mind and remind me that I still have things to do, and weirdly motivate me to get up and do them instead of sinking into ambivalence. Because of the construction of the shoe and where the laces are, I have found that I hardly even need to untie them, but am able to slip them on and off with little maneuvering. As I really only wear them inside the house, they've remained relatively clean, but all they seem to need is a damp cloth to wipe off anything that might spill on them. I have found these sneakers to be very comfortable, the soles have a slight squish to them that is very comfortable and I have not experienced any sort of pain or blister since I started wearing them. SO far I am very pleased with their construction, I expect they'll hold together for some time. I have a tendency to wear shoes into tatters before getting rid of them and I expect these to last a few years at least -- which, for the price, is excellent. The neutral medium-gray is quite nice. It's sort of mottled so it resembles denim and reminds me of a stormy sky over the ocean.

This is my first pair of Keds and so far I am happy with the simplicity of the design and the cushioned footbed. Amazon recommended a size 7.5 and I had to return them because they were too small. I ordered my normal size 8 and they are true to size. I’ll see how well they hold up and possibly order another pair in a different color.

Always love my keds, but know when you purchase them look at the back of the kids sneakers has kind of a dip in the material where it's cushioned for your ankle those are the best ones to get the other ones don't have that and it's a little harder on the ankle but great sneaker that's perfect very comfortable!!

I have wide feet and normally wear a 7.5W. Many brands that come in wide (like Naturalizer) are not wide enough and hurt my feet. I bought these in 7.5 wide. The width was perfect but the length was 1/2 a size too long. I returned them and ordered 7W. The toe box width and shoe length were perfect. I usually have to replace the insoles in shoes I purchase. I was surprised to find that these are memory foam and provide support and comfort. The canvas was stiff out of the box. I was concerned they would cause blisters but I wore them on a shopping trip and had no problems. They felt great and I love the look! I bought them in white. They are fashionable and versatile (with no show socks) . They look cute with a tee style midi dress, shorts, or jeans. I converted these to slip ons by changing to elasticized laces. I plan to spray them with stain repellent to keep them white.

I like th we shoes a lot. Very comfy, solid and cute. Size is appropriate.

My first pair of Keds. Chose my size based on the size chart from website and it fits me well. Very comfortable and love the colour very much.

I have wide feet with slight bunions and generally wear women's size 8 shoes and boots (with socks). Total comfort is a huge priority for me. I already own a pair of Keds Kickstart sneakers (size 8M ... wide wasn't available) which fit without socks okay, although they're a bit snug at first and require a breaking in period. I like the versatile colour of these taupe brown Centre II sneakers (size 8M), plus the fact they offer a bit more support than the Kickstarts. Again, I can only wear them with bare feet, but they do seem slightly roomier than the Kickstarts. I also have a pair of size 8M Keds Camp boots, which I can wear with thin socks. All my Keds, however, squeeze my left foot a little, although they do ease up somewhat after a while, although I wish it were more. If you have normal to wide feet and are looking to wear any Keds with socks, especially thick ones, you'll probably have to go up in size, but beware that the shoe length will be proportionately longer, too. In general, if you'll be wearing the sneakers without socks, go with your usual size.
