Why don't all products to this ? Everybody has a mobile phone, and SOOOOOOO much better than climbing up and down a ladder to change settings. Looove the ability to point 2 separate lights in different directions. Also love the use of 'constant on at dim levels', which then goes to 'full bright' when motion is detected. Quite sensitive, and weather does not set off false triggers. The mobile app is good at identifying the light in order to install and configure. Physical installation was also very simple - however my experience was best to install by screwing into the wood frame directly since it had rubber seal around the housing. Be aware that using a standard round or rectangular outdoor electrical box will not fit the unit since it is an irregular shape - therefore best to simply screw directly to the house. If you do - be sure to set the tension on your electric drill since the unit is plastic. CAVEATS: 1) You NEED to have a home WiFi network to take advantage of the convenient setup features. 2) The app is a bit confusing since I thought that I could receive remote notification across the Internet if the motion detector was triggered. Bottomline - I don't think this is possible. SUGGESTIONS: 1) A new product that integrates the motion detector with a hi-def snapshot camera would be amazing. 2) Improve the mobile app in order to subscribe for remote notification. I kept trying to figure this out but the menu was too confusing. The interface needs to be improved. 3) Perhaps an integrated bubble level due to the irregular shape and it is impractical to carry a level up a ladder and try to level the unit while on a ladder.

I have 7 of these lights installed outside my house and one in my porch. I have been very pleased with the lights. Since these are wifi, you can control most every aspect of how the light operates such as motion mode, illumination mode and brightness. The app displays the power usage of each light and from what I can tell, I can run my 7 outside lights at 100% brightness all night every night for less than $5.00 a month due to their led design. The lights are very bright at 100%. I would highly recommend these lights. I also have several orein wifi lights for indoors which work very well too. Unfortunately the link feature doesn't work right. It has group control but turns on all the lights when one motion sensor is triggered. I wish it would work for just a few lights but it doesn't work right for me. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these lights.

Before buying this I looked at all the reviews. There were a number that said it was hard to install and that the screws were not long enough and didn't quite fit right. They must have listened because they gave plenty of screws including the wire nuts, which I didn't use because my old ones were perfectly fine. The length of the screws were perfect and I had no issues lining up the screw holes with the back plate, which was also included. As soon as I turned the light on, it blinked twice which told me it was in pairing mode but I wasn't ready for that yet. I went ahead and tested it out and it worked just fine. I then installed the app and was able to control it with my phone. However, my main reason for buying this product was that I could control it with Alexa so I then set out trying to set it up. It was a breeze. Alexa asked me what kind of device and I told it a light. It then asked me what brand. I selected AiDot. It found it right off the bat and installed it. That whole process took less than a couple of minutes. I then tested it telling Alexa to turn on Entry Light, (I edited the name to that) and ON it came. I then told it to turn the light off and ... OFF it went. I was even able to dim it with Alexa. The only reason why I rated this a 4 star and not a 5 star was because of the device itself. Totally plastic and I am wondering how long it is going to last. I really wish it was metal. It looked metal in the picture so it was a disappointment when I got a small box that turned out to be less than what I thought I was getting. Overall, it is a good product and easy to install and set up.

Fantastic light.I love it,works great.The app also works great,alot of parameters to set and adjust..Finally, a true working dusk to dawn light,and not just one that is advertised as so,and after you buy it,you find out it does not have that function..This one does, and it works great!

If these lights actually did what they were supposed to, they would be 5-star lights. But they simply don't do anything they are supposed to. I bought 4 of them to fully light up a very large back yard. I loved the features that said they can all be linked, can be run from an app, easy to program.... For the most part, I just leave them off and use a flashlight because they are so unpredictable. Total waste of money. - I have them linked in the app so whatever one does, all 4 are supposed to do (turn on together, turn off together, etc.). Yet, sometimes 1 is on, sometimes 2 are on, sometimes 3 are on. The app linking does not work. - Sensitivity does not work. Sometimes a bug flying in front of one triggers it. Sometimes me walking in front of it doesn't. - In the app I have them set to always be on between 930pm and 1015pm, which is when we typically let the dog out for his final potty break for the night. They have never once come on at 930pm. - In the app I have them set so that after being triggered, they are to remain on for 5 minutes. On the random occasions they do trigger, they turn off in about 30 seconds. - Now they pretty much just flash white-red-white-red-white-red like they are an alarm system. I have never put them into that mode. They won't come out of that mode. When you look at the app they are set to be in that mode. They don't care, they're going to do whatever they want to do. I could keep going but you get the point. I don't know if the issue is the app doesn't talk to the lights, or the lights don't listen to the app. Regardless, these are simply not worth the money. Buy something else!

I'm glad that I purchased this new light. It has all the features that I was looking for. When I first bought the light it was not turning off correctly. After getting in touch with the company they worked with me to get a new light sent to me right away. The company is very serious in helping you if you need their help. They even offered to give me a full refund if I wanted to but that would not have solved the problem that I was experiencing. I really wanted the light to work for me. In conclusion I can honestly say that I am a very satisfied customer now and they stand behind their product 100%. I can also control the light with my phone. My old light could not do that.

This product was delivered on time packaging was more than acceptable the light and the instructions to install it all seem to be an order. I was able to do a DIY install with only minor cussing required to get the mounting bracket to line up to the holes. Once installed and the breaker switch flip back on and the light switch turned on the light worked as advertised! I was then able to download install and connect the app to the light and the whole thing to my Alexa and I can now comfortably control the light manually or let it catch any movement. I used my official retired racing Greyhound to test the ability of the light to sense movement and it sure did surprised the hell out of him but I'm happy good job! I hope it lasts a long time.

When I first got it it was great. Fine tuned the sensitivity. Got it connected to the app. Worked really well the first 2 months. Then noticed it getting less sensitive and taking more obvious movement to turn on. Then it just wouldn’t turn on at all. That’s where I’m at now 😞
