Great piece
It came a little damaged but otherwise a great piece for my husbands hobby room. Definitely put on studs for best support. Great present idea.

Versatile and well made
Works well. I used the supplied drywall anchors on the lower rail but it didn’t hold the weight. I used anchors that I had at home and it works fine. It’s very versatile and you can set the top and bottom rails the distances the person needs. Holds guns well and it’s stable. It was relatively inexpensive.

Over all, well made
1st of all, I am not a paid reviewer. I bought my rack as everyone else did, but there are problems, even though this is a good product over all. The mounting hardware is junk. As others have said, go buy some good hardware for this. I tries using the wall anchors and the broke inside the wall before they were tight. My guess is that the screws twisted the wings and broke the plastic. At this point, they are useless. The screws that came with mine are nearly as useless. I bent two of them In the plastic wall anchors. I found studs for two holes and they snapped off before I was able to get 3 or 4 threads deep. Just throw them away and don't waist your time. One of the weight bearing brackets don't fit snug at all. It would just fall off I'd the bracket wasn't level. Take your time with this and do it right, then it works well and looks nice. The directions say to still holes for the anchors. This is correct, but they do not say what size to use. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to know what drill bit to get rather than having to figure it out. My fixes were easy and affordable. I went to lowes and bought metal wall anchors, this fixed the anchor problem and the screws that comes with them at lowes are much better quality. You can buy them in black which is what I did. For the places that were at a stud, I used drywall screws. This fixed nearly everything. The lower supports were still apt to fall off when removing your guns, but I fixed this. I drilled a small hole through the bottom of the support and through the bracket. Then I used a sheet metal screw in each one of these and screwed them so they won't move. This will of course make moving them impossible, so if you do this, be sure they are where you want them. All I'm all, this is a good product and it looks nice in my gun room. I have given this a 3 star rating only due to the hardware issue. Foe the money, I believe this is a good product. It cost me 10 bucks to make this solid, but we'll worth the time and little money to make this a solid product.

There are many holes to drill
The wall I installed this on is concrete. A hammer-drill with a masonry bit worked fine. I got two racks and installed them both at the same time, for a total of 48 holes. I spent a lot of time drilling. Once I got the holes drilled, racks on the wall, and guns in the rack, suddenly there was more room in the gun room. The racks won't tolerate much impact before they come off the rack and have to be (easily) re-installed. They will work just fine as long as nobody runs into them.
