Great for venison sausage.
Great flavor and spice. I don’t usually season 25 pounds at a time so I did a little math to season a pound and a half package to give this a try and it was very good. We did up some sausage for breakfast on a camping trip and our friends loved the taste. I actually used it to season some venison sausage and it worked great. I bought this with venison processing in mind for the upcoming season and I am happy with both the spice flavor and the package price. Will be recommending this product to my hunting friends and buying more in the future.

Okay. So I don't do anything the way I am supposed to... I am not vegan. I am just unable to eat pork. I have been experimenting with vital wheat gluten, which vegans use as a meat replacement. I ordered this seasoning to give a pork sausage flavor to my seitan-ish meat. I call it seitan-ish because the vegan meat made from vital wheat gluten is called seitan. I added "ish" because what I make with it is not actually vegan. In addition to adding seasonings to the VWG, I also add eggs and I cook it in beef tallow or chicken fat. When I added this A. C. Legg Hot Pork Seasoning, in addition to the perfect cooked meaty texture because of the addition of the eggs, I enjoyed perfectly flavored breakfast 'sausage' patties that were just about indistinguishable from real pork sausage patties! I am back in pork heaven!☺️ I will be ordering again and again and again!!

Perfect blend of spices, right amount of "heat" and not too sweet.

It was a little too spicy and salty for me. I tried it with the tablespoon and 1 pound of ground beef for meal prep.

Nice balance of spices
The spices are balanced just right for my taste except for heat. I bought the pork already ground so I did not go through any of the grinding instructions that came with it. I simply mixed the spice mixture into the ground pork. Personally, For my taste, it was not as hot as I like my sausage. So, I used 2 tablespoons per pound, and it is right on point for me. I will definitely continue to buy it. I would like to try a venison mixture if I can find someone who is a deer hunter.
