Most stick blenders contain toxic chlorinated paraffins that come into contact with the food. After doing some research it turns out that the Phillips brand does not contain those toxins. Some of the other non toxic options are very expensive so I was really glad to find this. Plus it’s an excellent blender. I haven’t had a chance to try all of the attachments yet

Works well, replaced my hand mixer and blender, save me from washing extra dishes, may get hot when continue working for more than 10 minutes but not a problem.

Had this product from over 30 years and it finally quit. So ordered same brand. They've gone so cheap that the blender does not chop very well. Sometimes I have to stop, stir and restart. Never did that with my old one. Very disappointed.

Works great use it all the time

I have many pieces from braun and this one is of a great quality likewise. Heavy for sturdiness, good size cup.

Definitely better quality than other cheaper ones. However, the blender metal is not friendly to any surface, even the this cup it came with. It got scratched on the first use. I was also not aware of this could happen if you don't be careful. Overall, it's ok. Just be aware of what you use the blender with!

This blender set is a dream to have in your kitchen. It’s worth every penny, it’s amazing. It’s a huge time saver when cooking and it very easy and convenient to use. The set comes with a turbo powered hand blender and its interchangeable accessory parts - a whisk, a chopper, and a masher. All accessory parts are removable, dishwasher safe, and easy to clean and use. The chopper itself is worth it. This thing is amazing. It’s very fast and efficient. It dices half an onion in less than 20 seconds and gets it all cubed up small. It’s powerful and efficient. And it’s very easy to dump the stuff out and clean. The material is solid and is very durable. It’s a powerful chopper. And it makes cooking a breeze - soups, vegetable rice, guacamole, riced cauliflower, etc. It’s easy to wash and clean. The masher is super fast and convenient. You can mash things in any container or pot. And it mashes food to your preferred consistency. It can mash up an entire pot of potatoes in just a few minutes. There’s a regular setting and also a turbo setting for even faster results. The whisk is also fast and easy. It makes whipped cream in seconds and the perfect pancake mix. And is also easy to clean and use. Also included with the set is a smoothie cup with a lid. You can make smoothies right in it and use the cup on the go. Overall, this is a truly amazing set of kitchen tools. It makes cooking fast and enjoyable. As for cost, it’s definitely not an inexpensive product. However, it is absolutely worth every penny. It’s a great product that’s time saving and efficient, durable and made to last. It will serve you for many years to come. It’s a great product to have for yourself or to give as a gift. Absolutely recommend!

Verdict: 5⭐ for the technical features and high quality build. *** The good 👍 ✅ Overall Quality: The handle with the motor is heavy due to the powerful motor, but it is surprisingly well-balanced, so it feels a bit lighter than it really is. This is important to mention because this is powerful. I never thought 300W could deliver such torque and blending power. Just wow. One other detail is the blender attachment blade cover. It is made in a way that makes it easy to clean. I don't know how to explain it so I took 2 closeup pictures. You can see the shape. Very clever design. ✅ Controls: The variable speed should be advertized more in my opinion. This is something that every home chef needs and that blenders rarely offer. There is usually two speeds and that it. As you can see and hear in my video, I'm using the full variable speed range when preparing my lentils soup base. ✅ Accessories: The chopper attachment is great, it is sized perfectly for preparing a full meal. The whisk (we call it the Mayonnaise attachment) is very easy to clean, which is, again, something we don't see often. The only semi-useful accessory is the on-the-go drinking cup. It is very good, but feels weird in this set. Still, it is a very nice thing to add. *** Comments 🌐 The gradual speed trigger needs some getting used to. I strongly recommend you practice in a bowl filled with water before you go all-in and use it to make soup. *** Fun Facts 👉 My better half took a while to get used to the gradual speed adjustment. A lot of oil was splattered everywhere before she would learn the same lesson that I did with the lentil soup. This is a POWERFUL little beast. My standards ⭐, Usually because I cannot give "0" ⭐⭐, Good idea but poor execution. ⭐⭐⭐, Good idea, good execution, but something's missing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐, That means that I think this product is between good and great. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, I don't rate those often. This means "excellent" or "above-and-beyond".

I usually love Philips technology, but this blender is very poorly thought out and too simple. Needs to be held with two hands, no seals, very small volume of bowls, not convenient to wash

Disappointed that the North American version of this Philips product is nerfed in comparison to the one available internationally (see HR2657). Nevertheless, the 300W version here is powerful enough to crush ice, the stainless steel bell design does in fact mitigate splashing while blending, and the throttle control vs straight on/off button make this a capable appliance. I will mention that the mechanism to attach the parts to the motor is over engineered and clunky: a push button rather than a simple twist off and the food processor accessory is too tiny to be of any use. That said, for the blender and whisk performance at a price of less than $60 CAD for a like new through Amazon Warehouse, makes this an excellent value. Just wish I could buy more accessories, such as the spiralizer, separately if Philips is unwilling to ship it as a package.
