This was my first time trying date sugar and I am pleasantly surprised. I like that it's a healthier alternative to regular sugar and can be used in just about anything that needs some sweetener. It's easier to use than adding whole dates that need blending. I like that it's organic and has fiber because it's literally made from dates. I use it in dressings, baking, sauces...and it doesn't need to be blended like you would have to do if you added whole dates in. Great product

Terrasoul Superfoods date sugar 1 lb. Low glycemic, organic, unrefined, and trace mineral. I am prediabetic and I have other health concerns so I’ve been exploring my options lately as far as low or zero sugar sweeteners. So far Swerve is my favorite brand and I really like Stevia in general. I know a lot of people don’t though.Date sugar is interesting but it’s definitely not my favorite. It’s very powdery with slight caramely-date undertones. I would say this is a good brown sugar substitute however, the calories in this product are quite high(20 cal per tsp!) which add up pretty quickly, if you’re baking.It’s not terrible in liquid, such as hot tea, but not great either. The date sugar tends to clump and not really dissolve. Little fibrous tan bits will cling to the top of your cup. It’s odd. I think if you like the taste and aren’t on a super strict diet this is a good substitute for regular sugars. However, I probably wouldn’t get again. Also, the bag is a decent size for the cost, imo.

Good as a sugar substitute in coffee, not overly sweet. Blends in pretty well and isn't super grainy. Good amount for price.
