Well, I absolutely love these lights and these are now the 5th Govee product we own. So easy to set up using a 2.4 wifi connection, just followed instructions. The app is easy to use but possibly because we already use it for our other products, T2 tv lights, strip lights and bulbs. The choice of colours is eness and the colours change smoothly. They are actually quite bright even with just the 2 and it illuminates the darkest end of the garden nicely. You can dim them too so they just cast a shadow of colour through the plants. We love how you can link the lights to Google Home and set a timer for them to come on at duck and turn off as we go to bed.The only issue we had was the length of the cable from plug to light. We ended up buying an extra garden extension lead to plug in to our outdoor socket to be able to reach where we wanted them, and our garden is not huge by any means. Once the lights were plugged in to the extension lead we then had the problem of not being able to make the plug weather proof as the plug for the lights is like a box plug not a normal 3 pin uk plug, so then had to order a weatherproof box to house the one end of the extension and the Govee box plug met. Also put the control on the light lead in there as was not sure just how weatherproof that was.But, even with the issues we had, I would still highly recommend the garden spot lights. Granted they aren't cheap, but with these govee lights you get quality garden lighting which looks amazing and far superior to some cheap ones owned previously.

The lights were great to start with but after around a month both sets that we bought started to flick randomly and very quickly through all of the colours with no control from ourselves through the app. We ended up having to unplug them completely to stop them - tried plugging in again and testing and the same thing happened to both sets that we’d purchased. Complete waste of money and frustrated that we’re outside of the return window so there’s nothing we can do. No lights and no refund.

This is a great set of lights if you want to add a nice glow to plants in your garden. IF you have a tree I would extremely recommend you direct these lights at them as it creates a mystical aura.pros:Colour quality & brightness: is really good, it's able to light up my garden plants really well to create a good ambiance. Especially great when you want to relax. You can cycle through multiple colours.Build quality: ip65 rated so they are water-proof and can be kept out year long. Please be sure to measure the distance between the plug and where you want to connect the lights to because its better to have a power box outside in the garden.cons:Expensive for some: they are premium and would recommend to by them when there is a deal.Dependence on WiFi: These lights rely on a stable WiFi connection. If your WiFi network experiences issues, it might affect the performance of the lights.App Dependence: To fully utilize the smart features, you might need to use a specific app, which could be limiting if you prefer not to rely on apps for controlling your lights.

These are really good lights. They have lasted all through the winter without dimming or failing. The app is easy to use with a good choice of colours. FYI: the lights don't project any kind of picture like some decorative christmas/halloween spotlights, they only project colours. Would have given five stars, however, the cord from the plug is a little on the short side. The two spotlights are on the main cord in series and the first light is roughly five metres from the plug so you're limited on placement. Really good product otherwise.

I purchased two sets of these lights to replace our Philips Hue lights which stopped working (after 3 years). These lights were a fraction of the price but in my opinion are much better. They are well made, come with a good about of cable and have a decent brightness. The Govee App isn't the most intuitive but I soon had them setup to work with Alexa voice commands and routines. One light did have an issue but Govee's Customer support (Melinda) was excellent and the problem was quickly resolved.My only negative comment would be that the power adapter is incorporated in the plug so it is too big to fit in a standard outdoor waterproof power socket housing.I would recommend these lights.

These lights works well but now have got damp in them and don't work

The beams are bright and just right for uplighting in trees. This goat willow is about 18 feet tall at a guess, fully grown anyway, and the lights did a fine job on it, even at 50pc brightness. The app worked fine to control the lights, to choose the colours, schedule the on and off times and to remotely override. Would certainly recommend.
