My daughters love this Akedo TMNT battle arena - it's set up to look almost like an arcade machine, complete with some rather funky sound effects. The battle arena requires a bit of assembly and comes complete with 4 battle backgrounds and exclusive Leonardo and Shredder figures. It requires 3 x AA batteries to operate the sound effects. It's really quite fun - it reminds me a little of that blue/red robot boxing game from the 80's lol. Players take control of a character at each side by using the little control sticks - characters fight each other until the losing character....well, falls apart! Players can record points at the top of the arena and characters fit easily back together ready for the next round. We did find that poor Shredder seems to be at a disadvantage when fighting Leonardo - about 9 times out of 10 he gets his rear end kicked rather dramatically. There's a section on the back for placing/storing extra characters, so it's great for keeping extra warriors in reserves. It's a fantastic little item that seems to provide a good amount of fun - my daughters are already asking for more figures!

Our son loves this battle arena, He always wants to play with it. It's a great little toy, There are lots of different sound effects, You can change the backgrounds of the arena, and also collect different characters to battle with. Highly recommend to others.

For a big branded kids' playset, this is good value for money. The two little figures are cute, and the set itself isn't a bad size. It looks cool, and most importantly seems to bring the little ones a lot of joy. Great for kids of all types, but especially those into TMNT.

The battle sticks don't sit flush and keep moving around. My son found it hard to play as you have to keep balancing them and it takes the fun away. My son prefers just to use the mini stands that come in the packs with the characters and gets on much better with this. I'd return the item but he wants to keep the shredder character that came with it.
