we had a "parasitic drain" on the battery and only drove the car every few days so we were disconnecting the battery terminal a couple times a week. lead terminals were wearing down from removing and putting back on the cables so this was the best solution. easy to use, durable, and effective

Bought this to install on my RV so when it’s parked I didn’t need to fully disconnect terminals. It works great and easy to use. It is sizable so it needs some space for installation but works excellent.

I bought this for my 97 jeep grand Cherokee as it’s having a battery drain somewhere in the system I can’t find. I was a little worried that this wouldn’t work but it did definitely work. Needs some improvement to the length to it as it’s a little too long. I made it fit with a little tug, pull. Now I no longer have to disconnect the battery wires. The switch works fantastic! Turning it in the off position. No power whatsoever. On position the jeep fires right up. Hopefully it lasts for a while until I figure out why my jeep is draining power.

This switch does the job it is intended to do. On the other hand, it is not very sturdy when tightening the battery cable to it. Take care to not let it bend. Really good price though.

I have an older car and it has a battery drain which just comes with a an older car and a car that is not driven much. This cut off the battery so I don’t need to constantly charge the battery.

How I love to write good reviews, but unfortunately on this product it was a major disappointment. First of all, the battery terminal they climbs onto the battery itself was way too small and I didn't want to bend the metal too hard because when just utilizing it a little bit to try to make the opening wider, the metal looked very cheap and then when I looked up the reviews many people said because of the poor quality metal that terminal would snap. Secondly, the auxiliary terminal that went on to the cable that is from the engine was way too small-and there was no way to tighten it to the main wire that usually goes onto the battery. All in all it was extremely disappointing and a lot of hard work for nothing because when I got it hooked up and checked all connections, while it could run the lights, and the battery was just charged-it just did not make a good internal connection-the whole thing was a waste of time and as I said, very disappointing. I can't believe all the good reviews on the item, it shakes my confidence in reviews in general when I see a product like this, and just picking it up in your hand and feeling the lightweight construction of the metal, is a certain telltale sign that it's just not quality. ~Sorry to the people who make this, it's always much more fun to write good reviews and if there is another side to this, and you feel my reviews unfair, I am always a person who is open to being corrected.

this is really a must have if you need to kill your battery connction overnight without the need for tools. the fitment isn't that great though. the battery post side of it is way too small. I had to get a pair of spreader pliars to widen it for the battery post to fit, and then had trouble screwing the clamp so it doesn't try to undo itself. put two shims on to make it work. I'd get it again, but I'd honestly want to mod it so it's not
