I absolutely love this item and the v- tech range has always impressed me when it comes to educational learning and fun play . This is perfect for my grandson for Christmas .

Our son is obsessed with cars and is very heavy handed so for us, we like to find products that are sturdy enough for a chaotic toddler. The Toot-Toot range is just that for us. We have lots of different Toot-Toot buildings so decided to add the CoComelon supermarket to the collection. It's a great little concept, a simple lift that leads to a slide, and can connect to other buildings via a track, or can just have a track loop round the entrance of the supermarket. It's compact but not too small to enjoy, so it doesn't take up too much room. It also comes with a 4 way piece of track and a long piece of track to help with attaching it to other fixtures, and has some cool little features like detached groceries and stands and other bits. The JJ shopping cart is entertaining for little ones and plays a nice variety of sounds, and the battery life on it lasts very well. The only reason I've dropped a star is because of the slide. It's angled so the vehicles don't always slide down withe ase which sort of undermines the point of a slide to me. It also feels a tad flimsier compared to the usual Toot-Toot buildings (I've found this with both this and the CoComelon treehouse and they both show signs of being bashed around quicker unlike other buildings). You also, as with all Toot-Toot stuff, have to attach all the stickers yourself which is great for older kids to do, but not so fun when you have an impatient toddler around. Overall though, it's a great little product for the price. It comes with some great little extras and fits nicely in with other products in the range.

There can be few young children who don’t know and love the Cocomelon characters. They’re certainly very popular with our three grandchildren. For that reason, this Cocomelon themed Toot-Toot grocery store playset from VTech is likely to be a hit with most youngsters. Like all V-Tech products it is well designed and made, combining electronics with more traditional play activities. Furthermore, by using pieces of Toot-Toot adaptor track it can be integrated with other Toot-Toot sets to provide an even greater variety of play activities. As is the case with so many toys nowadays, there is an element of self-assembly required; in this case lots of stickers that have to be matched up to the appropriate sections and carefully applied. Given this, you might want to avoid the added pressure of small children eager to start play straight away by applying the stickers in advance of giving the playset to them. The set comes complete with batteries already installed (it takes 2 x AAA), so once the layout is built JJ is ready to go. There are two ways of getting JJ to talk and sing. The first is by pressing his head, whilst the second is through a mechanical sensor under his shopping cart, which is triggered as JJ passes various points on the track. Selling at around thirty-five pounds, I think this playset offers good value for something that should provide hours of entertainment and fun.
