Actually really detailed, not the easiest thing to build, looks great.
I actually got this as a nice thing to do with my brother's family. It was a good set to build with his family on Friday night. My nephew absolutely loves to build things. This set was definitely harder to build than many other set. There are small pieces but at least all the pieces are made of sturdy material so you do not have to worry about it breaking off easily. One thing to be aware of is that this set is not the easiest to build. On a scale of 1 to 10. I would say it is about a 9 because of all the small pieces. Regardless, it was really fun to build together with my family. My nephew really enjoyed this set after it was completed. I puts it in his room on the shelf now. Again it has a ton of small pieces and takes a bit of a delicate hand. There are pieces you can easily lose if you are not careful. It can provide several hours of build time for you. The house honestly is pretty big so make sure you actually have shelf space or an area to put this once it is completed. The house gives me a bit of a harry potter vibe just based on the decorum. I do like having the lighting to help match the house. The house itself is VERY detailed. I am able to put like mini figures on this as well just to add some people to this. The piece itself is not too heavy so you can easily move this around if needed just do not drop it. It is somewhat easy to dust as needed. Overall I would say this is a very nice house set to have if you are into model building. It is pretty difficult to build and not exactly for little kids. The pieces are pretty small. I do like all the decorations and how detailed this is. The material is very and well designed.

Excellent! So happy with the purchase
This book nook was awesome! Got it for my teenage son who still loves to build things but is a little old for Lego. He spent about 3 hours on Christmas Day making it. For the price, well worth it! I think the difficulty was just right for a 14-year-old. Instructions were good. The only issue was the clear hanging piece (solar system or atom?) The chains did not work right, so he just skipped that part. The stained-glass ceiling was a bit of a challenge, but it was fun to build and looks really cool on the bookshelf. So many little details. Highly recommend!

Fun to build and has beautiful detail
Amazingly detailed. It was fun and easy to build. Took me closer to 10-15 hours to build which made it worth its money to me. And I enjoyed putting it together and the lights takes it to a whole new level. The prieces are well build and fairly sturdy and I didn't have a single piece break while assembling! Highly recommend

High quality and fun!
TLDR: overall a great kit with high quality parts and straightforward construction This was my first ever build kit other than legos. Iโm now obsessed! This is a great kit for adults who have some experience but I wouldnโt recommend it to someone brand new to kit building. The tools that were included were very cheap and pretty much worthless. I ended up using my own xacto knife, scissors, and tweezers. I also had to get glue and would also not recommend this for newbies due to the glue. It was very messy if you mess up. Some of the instructions were vague, but easy to figure out. I didnโt love the color of some of the wood pieces, so I did use acrylic markers to change the color of some of the parts to my liking. The wiring of the lights was easier than I thought, but the steps to connecting the wires could have used more details. Another reason why this wouldnโt be good for newbies. The paper was very nice and detailed. The wood was thick and very good quality.

Great little Book nook to build
Well, this one is a little harder than most. For the most part the build was highly enjoyable. No books to make. No newspapers to roll. The only part that I would call difficult is the chains. The chain is very small and the clip rings are 1/8 inch in diameter. Very tedious and challenging. There are a lot of stairs to build which presents its own problems. It has a touch sensor to turn on the lights. The instructions are good, but in black and white. There are very few, if none, extra parts, but you won't need them. Parts don't break that easily. Glue is required in a lot of places, but not everywhere. I used Aleenes fast dry tacky glue and gel super glue for a few areas. All-in-all, this was a very enjoyable build. The manufacturer says 6-8 hours. It took me 10 hours over two days. I made a few mistakes, but no broken pieces. The stained-glass roof panels did not fit perfect, but no one will notice. So check out my pictures to see if this may be for you. Enjoy!

Cute
The idea of this piece is amazing. The bottom floor and back wall do not fit together. The pieces were cut wrong. One wall was installed but with that in place, the back wall sits about 1.5mm behind the side panel instead if just inside it causing my exterior walls to bow outwards to fit the wall and shelves. I was excited to do this build until it came down to the building walls. Hopefully this is just a slip up on the cutting process and was fixed for others. I recommend for miniature builders. It was fun while I wasn't irritated with it.

Challenging but worth it
It was truly all I expected to be, although the instructions needs more clarification like further instructions for each piece of the book nook wall as it were. But other than that, itโs was a grand fun adventure. I really hope that the next book nook museum will have prehistoric mammals, cause while Dinosaurs are extremely awesome number 1. It would be more awesome to for a museum to have a woolly mammoth, saber tooth tiger and other such unique creatures and artifacts.

BEAUTIFUL ๐ and high quality
This is the first book nook I've made, I chose it after a lot of research and I love it because of all the focal points it has like the central statue, chandelier, dinosaur skeleton, and the "glass" terrarium-like prehistoric world display which has its own light and is my favorite detail. It's not just a bundle of little details and clutter like many other book nooks I see but achieves complexity and scale through a balanced and more logical composition, you can see different scenes from different angles, like windows overlooking a European city, and an archway leading to a different room on the upper levels. It looks good from up close and far away. The various paintings and busts are lovely details and the printing and texture on all the wooden pieces was perfect. Assembly instructions were accurate and easy to follow. I agree with other reviews that the roof is the most challenging part but it's mostly because of the wiring and isn't horribly difficult. The touch mechanic for the lights works as expected. It was very fun to assemble and very happy with the finished product beside my classical library. I think this would make a great gift for anyone who likes making book nooks.

One of the better ones
Looks really good completed. Not too hard to do just be careful with the roof trusses as they break easily. The wiring is better than some of the other kits. I left of the statue at the top of the stairs as I liked the hallway look.

Hard roof
The roof was really hard to assembly, i had to reglued two piece togheter, because they brooke. Still a great project but because of the repair the roof dontnperfectly fit on the wall.

Fun way to spend a weekend
A fun and challenging build with lots of little hidden details. If you've built these before you'll be fine, but I wouldn't recommend this for a first-time builder.
